TAdviser IT Prize Winner for CAE System of the Year

T1 Integration (part of the IT holding T1) received the TAdviser IT Prize 2025 in the nomination "CAE System of the Year." The victory was brought by Taumericks, a multidisciplinary CAE platform for engineering analysis of electronics and photonics. On behalf of the company, the award was received by Alexander Sobachkin, Director of the Center for Competence in Engineering Analysis and Product Development T1 Integration. Read more here.

Launch the Taumerics solution

T1 Integration on October 23, 2025 announced the launch of its own software product under the name Taumericks on the Russian market, which is designed for engineering analysis and interdisciplinary modeling of physical processes that can occur in modern products using electronics and microelectronics. The product has passed the stages of development and testing, and since October it has become available for commercial use by both Russian and foreign companies.

Alexander Sobachkin, Director of the T1 Holding Engineering Analysis and Product Development Competence Center, demonstrated the advantages of his development for engineers

Taumerix is a universal engineering analysis tool (Computer-aided engineering - CAE), which allows design engineers, calculators, circuit engineers and electronic equipment designers to conduct virtual experiments, work out the design of products with electronic components and check their performance at the development stage. With it, you can identify potential design flaws: overheating of the component base, power breaks, possible fracture points and other design defects. By identifying such problems in the early stages, development engineers can optimize the design even before production begins.

A key feature of "Taumerics" is multidisciplinary. It combines several directions in one package at once: hydrogas dynamics, thermal analysis, electromagnetism, electrical engineering and photonics.

In fact, one product allows you to replace a number of solutions from ecosystems of foreign producers. For example, if we are talking about Ansys products, then Taumerics combines the functionality of Icepak, Maxwell, SIwave, Lumeric and Synopsys RSoft. For the Siemens ecosystem, an analogue should combine HyperLynx, Magnet, Simcenter, FloTherm, FloEFD and Altair Flux. In the Cadence ecosystem, Taumericks can replace two Sigrity and Celcius products at once.

It is a multidisciplinary approach that allows you to identify the above design defects in advance. Moreover, as the developers said in response to a TAdviser question, the company has accumulated experimental material from more than 2 thousand field tests of various designs. In the development of Taumerics, these data were used to verify the correctness of the modeling and the results obtained using the software.

The key advantage of the developed software in T1 Integration is the speed of its work. The solution gives similar modeling results, but compared to foreign counterparts, the preparation time of computational models is greatly reduced. Acceleration is achieved through the use of its own advanced technologies, in particular, on the automatic generation of grids for engineering calculations, taking into account the peculiarities of the designed products and the disciplines involved in the process.

Taumericx integrates with automated design and development (CAD) systems such as Delta Design and Engineering Analysis (CADFlo). The development is included in the register of Russian software under number 24447. True, there it is called Simultec. However, the team that created Taumericks has been working in the field of engineering modeling since 1986, when the first startup was organized by three immigrants from MIPT. At the time of the product's announcement, two of its three founders remained on the team, although in 1999 the original development team was acquired by the international company Dassault Systemes.

History of the development of the Taumerics product development team

As a result of the chain of mergers and acquisitions, the Russian developers of the initial team ended up at the beginning of 2022 in the German  concern Siemens, which was developing the Simcenter FloEFD product. However, Siemens stopped working in our country, so since 2022 the team has developed with the support of T1 Integration and the Russian government. In October 2025, the company's development was released on the market under the name "Taumerics," but by this time several dozen licenses of this software have already been sold by the integrator.

Taumerics Product History and Development Plans in T1 Integration

We have created a product that will allow engineers to reduce the number of tests from tens to one or even completely eliminate their need, - said Mikhail Knigin, executive director of T1 Integration. - Today, the introduction of Taumerics opens up the possibility for companies to move to full-fledged rapid interdisciplinary modeling, and therefore to faster and more efficient development of new products. It is important for us that the product is in demand in mechanical engineering and industry not only in Russia and the CIS, but also abroad. In the coming years, we plan to expand functionality and develop it with our customers

As explained by TAdviser Alexander Sobachkin, director of the competence center for engineering analysis and product development of the T1 holding, by 2030 the company expects to sell about 1.5 thousand licenses for the developed software in the field of engineering design, not only for Russian companies, but also to foreign markets of friendly countries.
