2025: Implementation of "Cyber Files"

Corporate solution for synchronization and secure file sharing Cyber The company's files Cyberprotect implemented at the MEPhI National Nuclear Research University. Cyberprotect announced this on December 30, 2025.

The educational process at the university is actively digitalized: an electronic learning management system has already been introduced, virtual laboratories are operating. Institutes and branches, united under the management of MEPhI, work in a single digital space - the academic cloud. As part of the process begun at the Institute of Intelligent Cyber ​ ​ Systems (IIX), NRNU MEPhI decided to implement a decision to organize the safe exchange of educational materials between teachers and students, included in the register of Russian POMhincials of Russia. This makes it possible to guarantee the stability of systems and compliance with the requirements of the information security policy of NRNU MEPhI.

The transition to Cyber ​ ​ Files helped to increase the level of information security IT infrastructures the university. Now all work with educational materials is centralized, predictable and managed in accordance with the university's information security policy. The implementation IT of the solution has become an important element in the development of the Institute's digital educational environment and not only simplified and accelerated the exchange of educational materials, data but also ensured their reliable and safe storage, which directly affects the quality and continuity of the educational process, "said Nikolai Karapetyants, senior lecturer at the Institute of Intelligent Cybernetic Systems NRNU MEPhI.

As of December 2025, 9 IIX employees are already working on the Cyber ​ ​ Files platform, and more than 150 students use the system. The solution is deployed in VM, and all files are stored in a local file system, the volume of which is 500 GB.

Integrated with the directory service and the LMS system, providing maximum control over all data used in the educational process, the information exchange process was unified by replacing previously used disparate products.
