2026: "Cyber Files" 10.1
On February 24, 2026, Cyberprotect announced the update of Cyber Files for control and convenience in corporate document storage.
According to the company, in the version of Cyber Files 10.1, the key emphasis is placed on the development of corporate folders - they have become more convenient in management and more transparent in the use of resources. The user interface was also modernized, integration with external services was improved, the data integrity control function and stability of work were optimized.
"Cyberprotect" makes managing corporate folders more flexible and simple. The universal group "All Users" has been added to Cyber Files. Folder owners can now save time by accessing documents immediately for all registered members of the system without having to select groups or individual users. It also became possible to give up ownership of corporate folders if there are other owners.
The changes also affected personal spaces: an error was fixed due to which in a number of scenarios users could not remove participants from the shared folder.
To help organizations effectively manage available space, Cyber Files adds the ability to assign quotas for corporate folders - separate from users' personal quotas. Administrators can configure standard quotas in equal amounts for all root corporate folders in each space, and the system will display used and remaining resources.
Cyberprotect continues to work on user interface changes. The updated appearance is now also used on file and folder access pages via a public link.
In the updated version, it has become more convenient to view and find information. Users have the ability to switch to tiled display of elements - this design makes navigation easier. In tiled mode, images are displayed as thumbnails, allowing you to quickly view the contents of files.
The development of the Favorites section accelerates access to frequently used data. Users can now add files shared with colleagues to this section and view favorite items from all private spaces.
It has become easier for organizations to connect S3-storage, deployed on the basis of Cyber Storage. The required storage system can be selected as the main repository directly in the Cyber Files configuration interface.
The Cyberprotect team also optimized the stability of the integration of Cyber Files with the SearchInform DLP system. Employees of organizations using this system will no longer experience an error previewing xlsx files and will be able to navigate spreadsheets.
Integrity monitoring has been developed in the synchronization client. Now the system is even better at protecting data when transferring files between devices. In addition, the correct download of the selected items in the archive was restored and the authorization problem was fixed, in which users could receive the "Login Error" message when the credentials were correct.
| The Cyber Files update strengthens the system's role as a centralized, flexibly managed platform for enterprise document storage. It has become easier for users to choose storage scenarios, control the use of corporate spaces, and work with different types of files. Current changes optimize administration, minimize the risks of unauthorized access and data loss, and make enterprise applications more convenient. told Ilshat Latypov, product manager of Cyberprotect |

"Cyber Files" 10.0 with Sync & Share multi-space support at sync client level
Cyberprotect on December 25, 2025 introduced an updated version of the Cyber Files synchronization and secure file sharing system.
Major improvements to Cyber Files 10.0 are related to the development of the storage structure, files the introduction of more flexible role models, the expansion of supported security tools and the creation of many common spaces for user collaboration. Integrations with new partner solutions have also been made to improve user experience with different - the Russian IT products.
Following plans to develop the product as an enterprise data warehouse, Cyber Files 10.0 created a type of space designed for "enterprise" folders. Such folders allow you to flexibly adjust user access to the data stored in them, based on the role model and explicitly specified rights to various actions with shared files.
In addition, since version 10.0, Cyber Files have implemented support for multiple Sync & Share spaces at the synchronization client level. Thanks to this, users were able to work with common data on any device with their automatic synchronization by the standard means of our product.
Cyberprotect pays great attention to data protection issues. And in the new version of Cyber Files, integration with the leak prevention system - InfoWatch Traffic Monitor was implemented. If you have configured Traffic Monitor policies, administrators can validate and filter any objects downloaded through the Cyber Files server.
The web console Cyber Files has been significantly redesigned and brought to a single corporate standard. Using Cyber Files has become more convenient, and among the functions of the new interface there is an additional section "Favorites" for quick access to the most frequently used files. Customization of the interface continues, which will allow users of Cyber Files to gain even more benefits in new versions of the synchronization and collaboration system.
| As of December 2025, Cyber Files is a universal tool to ensure comfortable and safe operation in an enterprise environment, including distributed teams. Cyber Files 9.4 with Integrated CIB SearchInform System
Cyberprotect released an updated version of the system for synchronization and secure exchange files of Cyber Files 9.4. The company announced this on September 26, 2025.
The updated enterprise file sharing solution provides more synchronization capabilities across different operating systems, simplifies link management, introduces more flexible access control practices, and increases security by integrating with SearchInform of 's DLP system.
Synchronization
The main changes implemented in Cyber Files 9.4 relate to the development of the trend for supporting domestic operating systems. For the convenience of Russian users, a special synchronization client for Linux was prepared. It has already been tested in real conditions and has shown stable operation along with Alt Workstation, Red OS and Astra Linux. The Cyber Files client integrates into the operating system and allows you to work with shared folders, as well as automatically synchronize files with the server.
Improvements are also implemented for the most common Windows operating systems on our customers' workstations. So, for mail programs Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird, the ability to send several files compressed into a zip archive with a link to it was added instead of sending files in an email message. And with the help of the synchronization client on a PC with Windows, with one click of the mouse, you can now send any folder to the Cyber Files server through the context menu, also as a zip archive.
Safety
As part of the program to improve the security of data stored in Cyber Files and taking into account the practical requests of our customers, the updated version of the solution has added integration with the DLP system SearchInform CIB. Now the decision on the possibility of uploading files to the Cyber Files server can be made based on the results of the analysis of files transferred to the SearchInform CIB system. With the appropriate rules, the download of confidential information can be blocked automatically, preventing possible data leakage.
To organize the work with confidential information, Cyber File administrators can restrict users' access to the Sync & Share base space, while providing access to additional spaces with appropriate restrictions and permissions for individual groups of users. Thus, it is possible to create a more flexible access policy to the system, where users working with sensitive information can download and work with it only in additional space, which can be limited, for example, by the internal contour of the organization.
Performance
In the release of Cyber Files 9.4, the versions of the framework Java and on servers Tomcat which the solution runs have been updated. Now the Cyber Files server uses Java 11 and Tomcat 9, which significantly increased the overall efficiency and stability of the system.
To achieve optimal parameters for the operation of Cyber Files, a limit on the number of active and remote spaces was introduced in the updated version. A maximum of 25 spaces can now be created within a single server, including the Sync & Share space. The list of deleted spaces also cannot contain more than 25 spaces.
Comfort for users
Sharing links to Cyber Files has become even more convenient. Now the system automatically generates QR codes when creating links to files and folders. A link in this format can be saved as an image, placed in documents, on sites, or on presentation slides.
For those cases when users are working with an unstable connection, or the volume of downloaded files is large, the function of resuming the download of data after the disconnection of communication with the server was implemented. Now your files will continue to be downloaded from the fragment on which the network failure occurred, and not again.
| This version of Cyber Files demonstrates another increase in the degree of customer focus, creating a new level of comfort for users with convenient synchronization, context menu support and higher performance. At the same time, we continue to increase the available security measures to protect important files, - said Sergey Vakhonin, director of information security systems at Cyberprotect. |
"Cyber Files" 9.3 with the ability to share folders
Cyberprotect"" released an updated version of the system for synchronization and secure exchange files of Cyber Files 9.3. The developer announced this on June 2, 2025.
An updated enterprise exchange solution files provides more collaboration flexibility and also delivers integration with popular email customers.
The main changes implemented in Cyber Files 9.3 relate to the expansion of the options for accessing multiple Sync & Share spaces. In addition to white and blacklist management tools for the Sync & Share base space, administrators have the ability to use similar functionality for additional spaces created as part of the implementation of different file exchange paths, for example, for individual users or groups, for specific projects, etc. This makes it possible to configure flexible access sharing policies that specify external e-mail domains as well as LDAP groups. For each individual space, administrators can enable the option to restrict the ability to copy and move data from one space to another to avoid uncontrolled movement of sensitive data between open and closed file exchange paths.
Also, to improve the overall security of file sharing, Cyber Files 9.3 added the ability to configure folder sharing. Administrators can now specify the allowed folder reference types in each space.
When you delete additional Sync & Share space in Cyber Files 9.3, administrators can move all stored data to the Sync & Share base space to avoid data loss.
In order to make it more convenient for users to share files under the size restrictions set on mail servers, this version of the solution implemented plugins for Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird mail clients, thanks to which users can exchange files without sending them directly by mail. The plugin automatically sends the file to the Cyber Files server, substituting a public link to it in the letter, which allows you to send files of any size through mail communications.
In addition, Cyber Files 9.3 has improved the synchronization client for Windows. Now, through the context menu, users can download the file to the server and form a link to it with one click. And for the convenience of working with Cyber Files, this version has the ability to filter events and links across various Sync & Share spaces.
{{quote 'We continue to develop the Cyber Files product, for which there is a growing demand from Russian companies today. If in previous releases the main changes concerned the infrastructure component, then Cyber Files 9.3 take a significant step forward in terms of improving comfort for users, the convenience of working with the concept of multiple spaces and file exchange loops, and also offer tools for more accurate tuning of the system, - said Sergey Vakhonin, director of information security systems at Cyberprotect. }}

On March 21, 2025, the company Cyberprotect"" introduced an updated version of the enterprise solution for synchronization and secure exchange files of Cyber Files 9.2. Server system components can be fully deployed on the Russian server based systems operating systems. To Linux increase the level of safety information exchange, Cyber Files were able to create any number of isolated spaces for file exchange. To exchange data with external users, there is support for public links not only to individual files, but also to folders. In addition, work was done to improve the stability and speed of synchronization clients.
According to the company, Cyber Files is a solution for organizing collaboration and file sharing in organizations. The Cyber Files system server is deployed directly on the organization's network, providing users with secure access to shared files on their computers, and also provides the ability to share files with external counterparties. In version 9.2, all server components of Cyber Files received support for Linux, including domestic operating systems. If earlier this was possible only for the management server and DBMS, now the gateway server, which provides synchronization clients with access to the management server and to network data storage, can also work on the basis of various Linux OS, including Russian RED OS, Astra Linux, ALT.
The range of possible scenarios for using Cyber Files 9.2 has been significantly expanded by supporting any number of isolated spaces for exchanging and synchronizing files using the Sync & Share scheme. Each such space is isolated from others and grants access only to designated users or groups. This approach allows, on the one hand, to implement segmented data storage for different departments within the framework of one installation of Cyber Files, and on the other hand, you can add and remove users from among those who have access to certain information. The use of additional Sync & Share spaces in this version of Cyber Files allows you to organize a clear and logical file storage system that reflects the organizational structure of the company or the structure of projects both in terms of ease of work and delimitation of access and information protection.
Since version 9.2, users of Cyber Files have been able to share public links not only to individual files, but also to folders, which makes access to information for external counterparties more convenient and easy.
