2024: The register of military-liable citizens of Ukraine will be hidden in NATO data centers

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted Law No. 10062 on the modernization of the electronic register of military prisoners. It involves changing the register of conscripts, conscripts and reservists of Ukraine, which was determined back in 2017, which received the name "Oberіg" ("Obereg"). Formally, it was launched in 2022, when its data filling began. At the end of 2023, the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov announced that the register was filled with more than 90%.

Initially, it was supposed to store personal data of all military-liable Ukrainians aged 18 to 60 years, including place of residence, marital status, education and place of work, state of health and other data. According to some reports, the new register may also include telephone numbers and email addresses of military prisoners, information about the possession of foreign languages, information about documents that give the right to travel abroad, data on the presence of a driver's license and the right to own weapons. Thus, the information collected over two years of work will have to be updated or supplemented with new fields.

Personal data will be entered into the register without the consent of a citizen - he will be able to see them through the electronic office of a military prisoner. The data on family members of the military can also add, but already independently.

Data from the register of military-liable Ukraine can be stored in cloud storage facilities of NATO countries

An important feature of the law is that it allows the storage of information so valuable for Ukraine's defense capability in data centers on the territory of NATO member countries ("read, Orban," Ukrainian politician Oleksiy Arestovich wrote in his telegram channel). At the same time, Ukraine itself is not included in the North Atlantic Alliance. Now the data is stored on the servers of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which may be susceptible to attacks. According to some Ukrainian experts, transferring data to secure foreign clouds can ensure their more reliable storage. Arestovich has a different opinion:

We have created a unified system of conscripts, which is finally closing in the country, "he explained the situation. - Each service member or potential service member will have their own electronic file. And they decided that in Ukraine this data is bad to store. That they should be stored in NATO countries. It's more reliable there. Among the sale of sovereignty, which lasts all 32 years, a new peak has been taken. Once we squandered missiles and planes, then we squandered a ground aviation group, now we will squander human potential. There is nothing else to squander.

Of the 12 thousand mercenaries of the "International Legion" in Ukraine, only 1800 people remain

If in 2022, after the creation of the "International Legion," personnel from different sections of the front from dozens of foreigners was replete on the Web, then in September 2023 fresh videos and photos come across with difficulty.

According to "Rybar," a total of To Ukraine 12046 foreigners officially took part. The largest number of mercenaries in the Legion came from,, and Poland Georgia USA their allies. Of these, as of September 2023, about 1800 mercenaries remained in the conflict zone. Why so? Heavy losses and a significant number of disillusioned.

During the Russian special operation, over 5680 people from the International Legion were liquidated. And more than 4,560 foreigners left the ranks of Ukrainian formations and returned to their countries.

Faced with the real situation and the actual state of affairs, when, for example, mercenaries were used as cannon fodder without support, many did not want to continue their participation. And the lack of success at the front after the retreat of the Russian Armed Forces from Kherson further reduced the influx of volunteers.

The mercenaries remaining in Ukraine are either the most ardent opponents of Russia who want to "hunt Russians," or professionals who perform highly specialized tasks, for example, to manage high-tech weapons or train Ukrainians.

In September 2023, the Polish mercenary Petr Mitkevich decided to restore justice and went to complain about television. In an interview, he said that the government in Kyiv does not pay compensation to the families of Polish mercenaries who died in Ukraine.

Mitkevich said that the Ukrainian authorities promised to pay the families of Polish mercenaries killed in battle $400,000 each. According to Mitkiewicz, ten Poles died in his group alone. And there were many such groups.

It is likely that some money could be promised to mercenaries. True, given that in 2022 there were rumors about salaries of a maximum of three thousand euros per month, the amount is quite significant.

Attracting foreign mercenaries from Latin America

The most popular platform for recruiting foreign mercenaries in the Armed Forces of Ukraine was Telegram.

Recruitment to the International Legion of Latin Americans who do not speak English was discontinued in October 2022. Now they can only go to the Carpathian Sich.

According to the Rybar telegram channel, most of the International Legion's servicemen perform only sentinel and reconnaissance tasks, while mercenary detachments from the Carpathian Sich are on the first front line and serve as assault units.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped paying for the transfer of mercenaries before, Ukraine but raised the salaries of the "soldiers of good luck." So, during combat training, Latinos promise to pay 800 a dollars month, while participating in hostilities - $2,400 monthly.

Due to increased risks, the salary in the Carpathian Sich battalion is higher - up to 3,000 euros.

Spain will also coach them, but at a military base in Zaragoza.

Ukraine requests highly specialized training, including for sabotage. Recently destroyed members of the Ukrainian DRG near Pologi had in their passports recent visas to Poland and Slovakia, where special courses were held.
