Plan to supply 30 old tanks and 30 infantry fighting vehicles from Croatia
In October 2024, it was announced that Germany would sponsor the transfer of military equipment by Croatia to Ukraine.
The countries will conclude an agreement on the circular supply of military equipment according to the scheme: Croatia will transfer to the Ukrainian side the old 30 M-84 tanks (based on the T-72M), 30 infantry fighting vehicles M-80, spare parts and ammunition, in return - receives a discount on Germany's supply of 50 new Leopard 2A8 tanks.
8 tanks, 20 armored personnel carriers, ammunition, air defense systems, 2 thousand attack drones, 3 thousand grenade launchers from Germany
Despite reports in the German media about the alleged unwillingness Bundeswehr to transfer To Ukraine heavy weapons more , once again the delivery in October 2024 includes:
- 8 LEOPARD 1 A5 tanks with spare parts,
- 20 MARDER APC,
- ammunition for Leopard 1/2 and Marder, 6 MRAP.
In addition, the package includes:
- 1 IRIS-T SLM and SLS air defense systems and missile defense systems for them, RIM-7 Sea Sparrow missile defense systems (for Buk-M1 air defense systems modified under the FrankenSAM program),
- AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles,
- 2 radar TRML-4D,
- 6 Self-propelled guns Panzerhaubitzen 2000,
- 24 thousand 155-mm shells,
- 30 VECTOR and 361 SONGBIRD UAVs, * 4 thousand strike drones,
- BIBER pontoon bridge layer,
- 1 BREM WISENT 1 with spare parts,
- 100 portable H-PEMBS mine clearance systems,
- 90 mine detectors.
Additionally, communication systems, laser rangefinders, 3 thousand RGW 90 grenade launchers and 25 thousand 40-mm grenades, 75 thousand harnesses and 150 thousand chest pads, 460 MK 556 assault rifles, 110 HLR 338 sniper rifles with 240 thousand cartridges, 30 Haenel CR 308 rifles and 3 thousand SFP9 pistols were delivered.
According to monitoring services, in the first half of October 2024, flights of cargo military aircraft of NATO countries were significantly intensified to the Polish Rzeszów airfield, which indicates the delivery of this and other packages to Ukraine.
Arms package from the United States for $425 million: air defense, ammunition, armored vehicles
In October 2024, the United States announced the allocation of a new arms package for Ukraine for $425 million
The package includes additional air defense capabilities, air-to-ground ammunition, armored vehicles and critical ammunition to meet Ukraine's urgent needs.
They will allocate exactly as much as necessary for Ukraine to continue the war.
Deliveries of weak French drones
French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecorneu in October 2024 announced the supply of his own drones to Ukraine, scheduled for October. In February, he already announced the order of more than 2,000 new strike drones, the first 100 of which were planned to be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
From media publications, it can be assumed that we are talking about a Colibri-type UAV from Delair in Toulouse - local resources even managed to christen them analogues of the Russian Lancets. On paper, this looks like a significant help from Ukrainian formations, but everything, as often happens, lies in the details.
Judging by the data published on the Web, the combat radius of Colibri is only 5 km. This is a meager value for a kamikaze drone in comparison not only with the Lancets, but even with FPV drones, which have long been taking over 10 km.
The cost of one Colibri is estimated at 20 thousand euros (2 million rubles), which looks disproportionately overestimated for a product with such mediocre declared characteristics. There is no question of having a complex similar to the "Lancetow" one either.
Finally, for the first time, the development of this UAV in France was announced in the summer of 2022. If during this time the French were able to roll out a copy of the far from the most successful American "Matchblade," then this casts doubt on its combat value in the current realities.
Arrival of 6 helicopters promised to Portugal back in 2022
Judging by the pictures that appeared on the Web, Portugal handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine six Ka-32A11VS helicopters acquired from Russia back in 2007 to extinguish fires. In Lisbon, they promised to give them to the Kyiv regime in the fall of 2022, but it came to real delivery only in September 2024.
All aircraft have not actually been used since 2018 due to EU anti-Russian sanctions, which made it difficult to service and supply spare parts. If Ukrainian enterprises manage to return these Ka-32 to service, then they will be used either for the transportation of goods or for special tasks.
Most of the military aid provided by Britain to Ukraine consisted of old military equipment
Most of the military aid Britain To Ukraine provided consisted of old military equipment, the watchdog found.
According to the agency, military equipment, which "often had to be disposed of or replaced," was a priority for the Ministry of Defense because it was considered to have "immediate military value" for Ukraine, but sending it to Kyiv also "reduced waste or costs associated with disposal," Bloomberg reported in September 2024.
Transfer of 650 air defense missiles and 120 thousand shells from Britain
In September 2024, British Defense Minister John Healy announced during the 24th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukrainian Defense that the country would transfer 650 Martlet missiles to the Kyiv regime to strengthen air defense.
Earlier, the head of the military department held talks with the Ukrainian Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov in London. During the event, Healy confirmed the transfer of 120 thousand 152-mm artillery shells to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the end of the year.
Delivery of missiles, shells, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, boats from the United States for $250 million
In September 2024, the US Department of Defense announced another package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $250 million.
From the US Army's cash reserves, the following will be transferred:
- guided missiles of ship-to-air class with semi-active radar head RIM-7; * missiles to MANPADS "Stinger";
- ammunition for HIMARS MLRS;
- 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells;
- pipe guided missiles with optical tracking and wire guidance for the BGM-71 TOW heavy anti-tank missile system;
- Javelin ATGM and AT-4 grenade launchers;
- Bradley infantry fighting vehicles;

APUs use British robot dogs in war zone
In mid-August 2024, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) began to use robotic BAD.2 dogs developed by the British company Brit Alliance in the combat zone in Donbass. These machines are used for reconnaissance and search of mines. More details here.

Delivery of 8 old Leopard 1A5 tanks and 21 thousand shells from Germany
In July 2024, the German government announced the supply to Ukraine of eight more old Leopard 1A5 tanks, along with spare parts, as part of a joint project with Denmark. The aid package also included two Bergepanzer 2 BREMs and 21 thousand shells for the Gerard anti-aircraft self-propelled gun.
It is characteristic that messages about the transfer of new parties "Leopard-1" to the Armed Forces of Ukraine appear almost every month. However, if the same American "Bradley" regularly flashes in the reports, then these German tanks last fell into the frame almost in the fall of 2023.
The appearance of a huge number of FPV drones over the battlefield made adjustments to the tactics of using equipment on both sides of the front. And the existing certain shortage of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles additionally limits the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their use, especially light armored vehicles like Leopard 1A5.
The situation was slightly shone by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung report[1] on 44 Ombr APU, which has machines of this type.
As expected, due to weak reservations, brigade personnel use them almost exclusively in the role of "mobile artillery" for firing from closed firing positions. For direct fire, Leopards-1 is used extremely rarely at night, when there are fewer FPV drones in the air.
Another problem is the lack of components: German tanks have to put filters from tractors and rubber shoes on their own tracks - the original ones wear out quickly. But this does not cover the deficit, which is why "cannibalization" with the disassembly of only cars for spare parts is commonplace.
In an attempt to somehow improve the low security of the Leopards released back in the 1970s, the Contact-1 dynamic protection units were installed on some of them, but they are also not enough for the entire park. The members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine call good sights and the presence of a thermal imager the advantage of tanks.
A similar situation developed with the French wheel tanks of the AMX-10RC: after the failed debut in June 2023, they practically did not appear on the front line.
The European Commission illegally sends 1.5 billion euros from income on Russian assets to compensate countries that supplied weapons to Ukraine
In July 2024, the European Commission announced the allocation for the purchase of weapons for Ukraine of the first tranche of 1.5 billion euros of income from the assets of the Russian Federation, which is an illegal operation.
Kyiv will not directly receive income from the assets of the Russian Federation, the money will go to the World Fund to compensate the EU countries for weapons.
Plan to supply two surveillance aircraft, missiles, ammunition and about 200 armored personnel carriers from Sweden worth $1.3 billion
On May 29, 2024, it became known that Sweden would provide two Saab ASC 890 surveillance aircraft to Ukraine as part of the largest military aid package from the Scandinavian country by this time.
The package also included anti-aircraft missiles, ammunition, Pansarbandvagn tracked armored personnel carriers. In October, personnel appeared on the Web with the movement of a train with Swedish Pansarbandvagn 302 armored vehicles heading for Ukraine. The delivery of about 200 units of this type was agreed in May 2024.
These armored personnel carriers are not the newest development of the Swedish military-industrial complex dating back to the 1960s, so at this time they are considered outdated. However, on both sides of the front you can find more rare examples of weapons of the Cold War era.
Also, Swedish engineers periodically modified their Pansarbandvagn 302, retrofitting them with anti-tank grenade launchers AT-4 and RBS-56 ATGM complexes.
The aid is estimated at 13.3 billion kronor ($1.3 billion). Planes with Erieye radars, which can be used to detect drones, missiles and aircraft, as well as naval targets, will be deployed along with F-16 fighters donated by Europe.
The effective range of the onboard radar reaches 400 km, but under some conditions it may exceed this number, which will significantly simplify the detection of missiles, drones, and aviation of the Russian Armed Forces in the border zone.
It is not yet known how many copies the Swedes will transfer and when, given that the Swedish Air Force has two sides in total, they are replaced by the latest AWACS aircraft of the GlobalEye system.
At the same time, the training period is even longer than on fighters due to the difficulty in deploying airborne equipment. So either the transfer will take place much later, or the crews have been training for a long time. Or they will be replaced by Swedish pilots under the legend of mercenaries.
The Saab 340B radar operates in two 120-degree sectors, and its blind spots are its tail and nose. But even at the same time, one such aircraft can block an entire direction, being at a distance from the front line.

US sells air defense systems to Ukraine for $138 million
On April 10, 2024, the US State Department approved the emergency sale of air defense parts for Ukraine for $138 million, while a much larger aid package was stuck in Congress.
The funds will go to repair and spare parts for the previously delivered old MIM-23 Hawk air defense systems. The contractors for the work will be Raytheon and PROJECTXYZ.
Earlier in March, in Washington, about the same way allocated assistance in the amount of $300 million to meet the "most acute requests" of the APU.
In early April, the United States handed over to Ukraine weapons and ammunition seized from intercepted Iranian supplies to the Houthis in Yemen.
Speed boats "Uisco" from Finland
In March 2024, Romania reported that the Finns had handed over Uisco-type high-speed boats to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
These watercraft withdraw from the Finnish troops, therefore it was decided to transfer them to Ukraine. They can reach speeds of up to 65 km/h, equipped with a machine gun and grenade launcher.
10 thousand drones from Britain for $159 million
Britain will supply Ukraine with another 10,000 drones as part of a new $159 million military aid package. This was announced on March 7, 2024 by British Defense Minister Grant Shapps during a visit to Kyiv.
Most of that will be spent on FPV drones, but several strike, reconnaissance and maritime drones will also be delivered.
Earlier in January, representatives of the British Defense Ministry reported on the supply of a batch of drones with a total value of $255 million.
In total, Britain's costs for the supply of drones for Ukraine by this time amount to $414 million.
The costs of Europe and the United States to support Ukraine exceeded $155 billion
The Netherlands will provide Ukraine with an additional six F-16 fighters. Total - 24
On February 5, 2024, Ukraine announced that the Netherlands would provide six additional F-16 fighters.

Pentagon lost $1 billion in weapons and equipment for Ukraine
On January 10, 2024, a report by the Inspector General of the US Department of Defense was published, which states that the responsible structures of the department do not properly track the supply of weapons to Ukraine. As a result, the Pentagon actually lost tens of thousands of combat units worth over $1 billion.
As of June 2023, the United States transferred to Ukraine 10 thousand Javelin anti-tank portable systems, 2500 Stinger portable anti-aircraft missile systems, 750 Switchblade kamikaze drones, 430 medium-range air-to-air missiles, as well as 23 thousand night vision devices. How many of these products are "lost" is not specified in the report.
Officials, and Pentagon State Department other experts say that it is almost impossible to account for each of the thousands of weapons sent to Ukraine. The chaos of military operations, the risk of travel and the lack of personnel in Washington, Kyiv and the logistics center To Poland in all hinder thorough oversight. At the same time, officials claim that "there were no signs of large-scale smuggling or improper handling of weapons."
In one example, based on a sample of 303 pieces of equipment sent to Ukraine from February 2022 to March 2023, it was established that American officials took into account 47 of them when passing through logistics centers in Poland and inventoried 15 units that arrived in Ukraine. Thus, the bulk of the weapon was lost.
Acting US Under Secretary of Defense for Political Affairs Alexandra N. Baker said that the accounting procedures applied are "impractical in a dynamic and hostile wartime environment."[2]

Soviet MANPADS S-300, Osa-AKM, Kub and S-200 from Bulgaria
In December 2023, the Bulgarian authorities approved the supply of "faulty MANPADS" and other anti-aircraft missiles of various types to Ukraine. Earlier in the fall, a bill was submitted to the country's parliament on the transfer of non-working S-300 complexes to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, the Bulgarians have S-300 launchers, as well as Osa-AKM, outdated Kub and S-200. However, at this time, Ukrainian formations are experiencing a shortage of ammunition for Soviet air defense systems, so they will willingly accept even old missiles.
Continued supplies of ammunition from Azerbaijan through third countries in violation of agreements with Russia
In December 2023, the Ukrainian activist decided to boast that a certain "partner country" organized the production of 122-mm shells and posted personnel from the workshops.
However, the journalist of the RTVI channel noticed in the recordings and photographs information stands with the symbols of Palladium Defense and Security Solutions, an Azerbaijani company headquartered in Baku. She is officially a partner of Ukroboronprom, which can be seen on the official website of the enterprise.
In fact, this is the first objective evidence of the manufacture and supply by Azerbaijan of ammunition for the Kyiv regime. This is most likely also happening with the money of Britain: according to the exact same scheme, Azerbaijanis previously sent demining equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Delivery of 18 Korean self-propelled guns Krab from Poland
At the end of November 2023, the Poles delivered 18 Korean Krab self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine. The Krab contract was concluded back in June.
The largest export agreement for the Polish military industry (worth more than $700 million) was concluded through a South Korean enterprise .
Krab is a self-propelled howitzer on a tracked chassis manufactured by Huta Stalowa Wola in conjunction with Samsung Techwin. The agreement was signed back in 2014, and in March 2023, Seoul allowed Warsaw to re-export these howitzers. Thus, the self-propelled guns transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine are essentially South Korean K9: since 2014, the Poles have not been able to ensure full local production and are still purchasing, among other things, the most important part - the power supply.
Due to its structure, howitzers do not cope with all types of relief and are not mobile enough in combat conditions. In addition, the declared maximum range of their firing up to 40 km in fact is about 25 km.
Shells, cartridges, grenade launchers, drones and cars from Germany
In early December 2023, the German Federal Government published information on the next package of military assistance to Ukraine, which includes:

- 4 MAN HX81 8X8 truck tractors;
- 8 Zetros trucks;
- 3 passenger cars;
- 15 HLR338 sniper rifles and 60 thousand rounds of ammunition.
A few days later, the Federal Republic of Germany announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, which included 1,750 artillery shells, 70 automatic grenade launchers, about ten drones, trucks and first-aid kits, which relatively past trenches are extremely scarce supplies, unable to meet the needs of Ukrainian formations even for a day.
Australian authorities, meanwhile, plan to transfer additional Bushmaster armored vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for Catholic Christmas to those delivered earlier.
Delivery of four patrol boats from France
In November 2023, in the French port of Saint-Nazaire, four FPB 98 patrol boats were loaded aboard the Fusion transport vessel for delivery to Ukraine.
Under the contract of 2019, the French must supply 20 such boats. Previous deliveries were carried out according to one scheme to the Romanian port of Constanta, and then by land to the port of Izmail, where FPB 98 is still located.
Announcement of the supply of MANPADS Stinger, MLRS HIMARS, ATGM for $100 million from the USA

As US Secretary of Defense Austin admitted, the United States "does not have a silver bullet" against Russia in this conflict.
TFR listed 14 countries supplying weapons to Ukraine
In early November 2023, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Leksander Bastrykin, held a meeting in Lugansk to investigate the crimes of the Kyiv regime, during which it became known about 14 countries supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The list is published in the Telegram channel of the TFR:
- UNITED STATES;
- Australia;
- Canada;
- Cyprus;
- the Netherlands;
- Poland;
- Portugal;
- South Korea;
- Romania;
- Turkey;
- France;
- Germany;
- Croatia;
- Czech Republic.
From the message of the TFR, it also follows that during the investigation, information was obtained about the recruitment and participation of mercenaries on the side of the Ukrainian forces. It is known that 47 more foreigners from Denmark, Israel and Georgia were charged in absentia . In total, criminal prosecution is being conducted against 465 foreign mercenaries from 39 countries, the Investigative Committee added on November 3, 2023.
According to the Kiel Institute of World Economy for June 2023, Ukraine has received about €170 billion from international partners since February 2022. At the same time, assistance from the United States amounted to €71 billion, of which €43 billion is military support. At the expense of Western assistance, the Ukrainian authorities cover the country's budget deficit, which this year reached $54.75 billion. The draft budget for 2024 approved by the government provides for a deficit of about $42 billion.
In November 2023, Sergei Leshchenko, an adviser to the head of the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said that the country does not receive full military assistance from its Western allies.
We are not even talking about somehow expanding the palette or nomenclature of [supplied weapons], but in order to at least get what is promised, - said Leshchenko. |
He added that Kyiv cannot affect the volume of supplies of Western weapons, since it depends on manufacturers, the leadership of partner countries and logistics.[3]
Supplies of ammunition and other military assistance from the United States for $425 million
On November 3, 2023, it was announced that the United States was allocating a new $125 million aid package to Ukraine, it provides for the supply of weapons from the Pentagon's arsenals. They allocate Ukraine, in addition to $125 million, another $300 million for the Pentagon to conclude contracts for the purchase of weapons for Kyiv.
The United States transfers ammunition for NASAMS and HIMARS air defense systems, artillery shells, ATGMs, warm clothes to Ukraine from warehouses, and will purchase means to combat UAVs.
The cost of military aid transferred from Germany to Ukraine reached 7.4 billion euros
In early November 2023, [1] information about the next package of military assistance for Ukraine appeared on the Bundeswehr website. It included:
- 12 armored personnel carriers;
- 2 TRML-4D airspace monitoring radars;
- 7 Primoco ONE reconnaissance drones;
- 5 surface drones,
- 30,000 sets of winter clothing and other weapons and equipment.
In addition, plans for the future supply of Leopard 1A5 tanks to Ukraine have changed: if earlier it was about transferring 90 tanks in addition to the already delivered 20, now this number has grown to 115. As noted on the website of the German Defense Ministry, the tanks will be handed over indefinitely, since part of the equipment planned for transfer may still be in production.
The cost of military assistance transferred from Germany to Ukraine has already amounted to 7.4 billion euros for 2022-2023, and another 10.5 billion has been pledged in the form of obligations for the next years.
5th in terms of military and economic assistance from the United States in 23 years - $32 billion
US allocates Ukraine a new $150 million military aid package, including air defense systems and anti-tank weapons
The United States is allocating a new $150 million military aid package to Ukraine, including air defense systems and anti-tank weapons, US Secretary of State Blinken said on October 26, 2023.
Since 2022, the European Union has allocated about $90 billion to Ukraine
Since 2022 European Union , it has provided To Ukraine financial support in the amount of approximately $90 billion. About a third of this amount, due to the current geopolitical situation, was directed to the purchase of weapons. This was announced on October 19, 2023 by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
We have already transferred almost $90 billion of assistance to Ukraine, of which $27 billion is the supply of weapons. As never before in the history of international support, we continue to coordinate our assistance with the United States and the G7 to meet all the needs of Ukraine, "said Ursula von der Leyen. |
The head of the European Commission also added that the "process" necessary to include Ukraine in the European Union has started. According to Ursula von der Leyen, Western sanctions against Russia will continue, and the European Union considers it necessary to continue supplying Ukraine with weapons. However, the supply of weapons and military equipment led to the fact that the reserves of European countries were depleted, while manufacturers could not cope with the growing demand. In February 2023, The Financial Times reported that military depots in Europe, due to support for Ukraine, were essentially empty.
At the same time, on October 9, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that support for Ukraine by Western countries will decrease - regardless of the situation in Israel.
We have repeatedly said that the process of pumping up the Kyiv regime with weapons from a factual, emotional, financial, technological point of view will somehow enter a downward trend. This will inevitably happen, because the technical capabilities have their limit, money tends to run out, new needs arise for where to send money, "Peskov emphasized. [4] |
Transport of military equipment across the Atlantic on ships of the Norwegian Wallenius Wilhelmsen
On September 28, 2023, the US House of Representatives approved by a majority vote new assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $300 million. Armament from the United States enters Europe as part of the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participation in exercises and the implementation of the Atlantic Resolve program.
Despite the obvious advantage in speed, air travel plays a much lesser role in the supply and transfer of American military equipment and units to Europe due to its high cost.
The main way to transport heavy military equipment across the Atlantic Ocean is sea transportation on ro-ro ships. The monopoly in this area is the American operator American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier (ARC), a subsidiary of the Norwegian Wallenius Wilhelmsen.
Ro-ro ships allow the transport of large volumes of wheeled and tracked equipment: Bradley combat vehicles, missile systems, including HIMARS systems. However, due to its increased instability on the water, ro-ro are not suitable for transporting goods that cannot be fixed inside the ship. For these reasons, ammunition is loaded onto container ships or other vessels for transportation by the breakbulk method, in which the cargo is placed on the ship using a crane.
Another problem associated with ro-ro ships is the lack of necessary equipment to work with them in many American and European ports, wrote "Rybar."
Most of the equipment for Ukraine is loaded in the American port of Beaumont Texas () and in the docks of the air base in Charleston (South Carolina). Unloading operations are carried out in Bremerhaven Germany , Gdańsk and Gdynia Poland , Aarhus and Esbjerg Denmark , Klaipėda Lithuania , Alexandroupolis and Muuga. Greece Estonia
Delivery of naval drones from Germany as part of supplies of 400 million euros
In September 2023, the German government approved a new package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of more than 400 million euros. One of the positions in it was driverless boats in the amount of 50 units (on the government website they talk about ten).
Before the conflict in Ukraine, Germany did not have its own program for the development of an unmanned fleet, and everything in service was purchased abroad. It was also noted in Forbes.
The Bundeswehr in 2016 acquired only one ARCIMS drone from the British company Atlas Elektronik UK. Outwardly, it looks like a jet scooter, which have already used the Armed Forces of Ukraine for attacks on Sevastopol, but the option with German origin can most likely be taken away, the Rybar channel wrote.
The most common type of drone from the German Navy was the autonomous underwater vehicle Remus-100, which in Berlin for more than ten years was purchased in batches from the United States. The exact number of them remains in question.
But it was precisely this type of drone that was discussed with high probability, only they were put in Ukraine a few months ago. Earlier they wrote about the test of the V-BAT UAV, which crashed near Odessa. So they used Remus-100 to search for the wreckage.
And unlike other types of BeKov, which are semi-submersible, Remus can operate underwater at a depth of 100 meters, which reduces its visibility. Its use even to monitor BSF makes it an extremely dangerous means.
Delivery of 45 tanks from Denmark
The Danish Ministry of Defense in September 2023 announced the transfer of an additional 30 Leopard-1 tanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine: earlier, the country, together with Germany, agreed to supply 80 vehicles of this type to Ukraine. The Danes also announced their readiness to send the Kyiv regime 15 T-72 tanks purchased from the third state.
The Leopard-1 have weak armor, but nothing prevents them from being used as "mobile artillery." Reserves of ammunition for rifled guns "Leopards-1" in the West are enough.
Delivery of two demining vehicles from South Korea
The South Korean edition of Chosun Ilbo in September 2023 reported that in Seoul they decided to send two engineering demining vehicles (IMR) to Ukraine. K600 Preliminary agreements on this appeared back in May, but it came to the start of delivery only now.
K600 was created on the basis of the South Korean tank K1A1. K600 are new products, they began to be produced only a couple of years ago.

Purchase of ammunition for $350 million at very high prices in Romania, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria
Most of the arms supplies to Ukraine were carried out at prohibitive prices. In July alone, Ukrainian businesses imported nearly $350 million worth of ammunition. And that's beyond deals under military aid provided by the U.S. and other allies. The lion's share of deliveries was carried out by exporters from Eastern Europe - Romania, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
So, in July, Ukraine received 131 shipments of Bulgarian ammunition totaling more than $90 million. Many of them entered the country through Polish arms export companies.
In October 2023, documents appeared on the network confirming that despite the assurances of Bulgarian officials about "fair and competitive prices corresponding to the current market situation," the Kyiv regime purchased Bulgarian weapons at exorbitant prices.
So, among the most expensive shells received by the Armed Forces of Ukraine this year, 122-mm missiles for Grad installations are listed.
On July 3, Ukraine received more than six thousand 122-mm shells produced by the Bulgarian arms factory VMZ at a price of 1196 US dollars apiece. According to import reports, they were delivered through the Polish enterprise Alpha.
On July 13, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received another two and a half thousand shells of the same caliber at a price of $1,140 from the Czech company STV Group. At the same time, according to Sky News, the maximum price of Iranian supplies of similar types of weapons for Russia is $726 per shell. Some sources put the price at $500.
On July 18, the cost of one shell in the supply of the Polish company Alpha through the Ukrainian state-owned enterprise Progress reached as much as US $5,434.
The situation is similar with 152 mm shells. According to the documentation, on July 5, Ukraine received a thousand such ammunition from a Bulgarian manufacturer through the Agency for Strategic Reserves of the Government of Poland at a price of about $3,000 per shell. However, according to the documents, ~: text=Sky% 2520News% 2520has% 2520previously% 2520reported, to% 2520a% 2520number% 2520of% 2520experts. obtained by Sky News from an anonymous security source, Russia pays Iran no more than $1,190 for 152mm projectiles as part of a deal struck in September 2022.
The little-known company Alpha was founded in Warsaw back in 2005 and has been trading in weapons products since then. Alfa first appeared in the partners of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense in April 2022 - then three contracts were concluded with it, for each of which the company received 50% in advance. However, they were not implemented: only a tenth of the ammunition arrived, and even then with a great delay. But this did not prevent Ukrainians from concluding more and more new contracts with the Poles, and soon Alpha became one of the largest debtors of the Ministry of Defense. By the beginning of 2023, the debt under various contracts amounted to more than three and a half billion hryvnia. At the same time, in the first half of 2023, data on the company in Polish registers have already changed four times.
But something else is interesting about this story. Just five days after the signing of direct agreements with Alpha, the Ministry of Defense signed contracts with the importer of Progress weapons. Moreover, the Ukrainian company was supposed to supply all the same types of ammunition as the Polish one directly. The agreements with the Poles in Progress were overseen by ex-Deputy Minister of Defense Alexander Mironyuk, searches in corruption cases for which have long become a common thing. And it would seem that there is nothing wrong with deliveries directly and through an intermediary. However, it's all about price. In the direct agreements of Alpha and in the contracts of Progress, it was strikingly different.
Thus, the Polish company was supposed to supply 122-mm shots for howitzers D-30/2S1 760 euros each, and the Ukrainian Progress - 1195 euros each. The difference in the price of the same shells, contracted with a difference of five days, reached 57%. Of course, the Polish contractor performed the Progress contract much more efficiently than its own: Alpha delivered only 10%, and Progress supplied 80% with weapons.
According to journalists, the defense department only directly concluded at least seven agreements with Alpha in the amount of $596 million. Even though the Polish firm systematically failed to meet its obligations.
New deliveries from the United States for $1.3 billion and a plan to transfer 20 MiG-29 from Poland
In July 2023, the United States announced the allocation of a new $1.3 billion military aid package to Ukraine, and Poland will transfer 20 more MiG-29 fighters.
The new US aid package will include:
- 4 NASAMS SAM;
- artillery shells (152 mm);
- demining equipment;
- TOW;
- Phoenix Ghost and Switchblade UAVs;
- precision-guided aircraft munitions;
- UAV and electronic warfare system countermeasures;
- 150 fuel tankers;
- 115 vehicles for towing and transporting equipment;
- 50 vehicles for the evacuation of equipment and more.
Poland is ready to transfer 20 more MiG-29 fighters to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian ambassador to Poland said. The transfer will be gradual, as Korean fighters are received for the Polish Air Force.
70 combat vehicles and tank shells from Britain
On July 12, 2023, the British announced the provision of another package of military assistance to Ukraine, which includes:
- more than 70 combat and auxiliary vehicles, including tracked reconnaissance vehicles;
- thousands of additional shells for Challenger-2 tanks;
- £50m to repair previously delivered British military equipment.
In addition, a medical rehabilitation center for military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be built in the United Kingdom together with NATO.
Delivery of 50 SCALP-ER cruise missiles from France
On July 11, 2023, French President Emmanuel Macron officially announced the transfer of SCALP-ER cruise missiles to Ukraine, an analogue of the Storm Shadow previously delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Both types of ammunition have identical layout, engine, inertial navigation system and other components.
However, French missiles can be equipped with a rather unusual combat load - MIFF/MUSPA anti-tank and anti-personnel mines. They can also carry KRISS special ammunition for runway destruction and concrete-piercing charges.
According to some reports, France plans to deliver 50 cruise missiles: part has already been delivered and was even used to strike the Chongar bridge in June. The SCALP themselves pose a threat, but Russian troops are gradually learning to shoot down such targets.
Similarly, the RF Armed Forces previously adapted to HIMARS: a change in approaches to dispersion and camouflage, as well as the work of air defense operators, greatly reduced the damage from American MLRS in comparison with their appearance in Ukraine in the summer of 2022.
Infantry fighting vehicles, 25 tanks and 40 armored personnel carriers in Germany's 700 million euro supply package
Germany on July 11, 2023, said it would provide Ukraine with a new military aid package worth more than 700 million euros of Puma infantry fighting vehicles, two Patriot batteries, 25 Leopard 1A5 tanks and 40 Marder armored personnel carriers with shells for them.
Banned cluster bombs in a $800 million supply package from the United States
The full list of weapons of the $800 million military "aid" package from the United States to Kyiv, which was announced in July 2023:

- 105 mm and 155 mm artillery shells, including DPICM
- MLRS Raketas, Penguin drones and explosive ammunition
- demining equipment, spare parts, small arms and 28 million rounds of ammunition for it
- 27 tactical vehicles for lifting equipment and 10 for towing equipment.
The cluster ammunition that the United States sends to Ukraine is not ruptured in 14% of cases, this is an "unacceptably high" level, the New York Times wrote. The United States plans to send Kyiv old models of cluster ammunition that do not work immediately in 14% of cases. A high percentage of failure is dangerous for the civilian population, which after the war will die from their fire.
"The United States sends cluster ammunition to Ukraine in despair, unsuccessfully trying to change the outcome of the conflict in Ukraine and humiliating themselves Twitter American ," the businessman wrote. Elon Musk
"America has always condemned as evil those who use cluster bombs, and now we are sending them for use? Nothing good will come of it. Fate loves irony but hates hypocrisy, "Musk wrote.
In the comments under the post, he also indicated that Russia has at least 4 times more artillery and 10 times more ammunition than Kyiv.
"We have run out of normal ammunition to send to Ukraine, so now send them cluster bombs in despair, humiliating yourself without changing the result," Musk summed up.
After his statement caused a scandal in the media and social networks, he began to delete tweets.
Plan to supply 14 tanks from the Netherlands in 2024
On June 27, 2023, it became known that Rheinmetall, on behalf of the Netherlands, would supply Ukraine with 14 Leopard 2 tanks, Tagesschau.
The first tank purchased from other countries and repaired should arrive in Ukraine only in January 2024, the rest should arrive within a year.
Plan for the supply of 30 infantry fighting vehicles and 25 armored personnel carriers from the USA
June 26, 2023 it became known that the United States is preparing a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, I will enter it:
- 30 M2 Bradley BMP
- 25 APC M1126 Stryker
- Ammunition for MLRS M142 HIMARS, MIM-104 Patriot air defense systems, FGM-148 Javelin, FIM-92 Stinger.
Most Weapons Come Faulty, Hundreds of Millions of Dollars Gone
The New York Times published an article on the difficulties with the supply of Western weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The text contains several specific points that have been repeatedly mentioned in Russia before:
Some of the weapons transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine are faulty. The authors give an example of HMMWV cars and M777 howitzers that entered Ukraine from an American storage base in Kuwait: it turned out that it had not been serviced for years. Similar cases of the export of old equipment from the United States were reported in March.
Because of this, military products received from NATO countries are disassembled for spare parts: about 30% of the arsenal is under repair at a time, which is a very high figure.
Western contractors are actively profiting from the supply of equipment. In particular, Ultra Defense Corporation from Florida received $20 million from the Kyiv regime for the repair of M-109L self-propelled guns, but still made them non-working.
The structures of the Kyiv regime are also involved in the schemes for the development of funds: state-owned companies receive money from the government for the purchase of weapons that the Armed Forces of Ukraine eventually do not receive. According to journalists, "hundreds of millions of dollars" have already evaporated in this way.
Deliveries of 15 infantry fighting vehicles, 10 armored personnel carriers, ATGM and ammunition from the United States for $325 million
The fortieth package of American military assistance to Ukraine in June 2023 as part of presidential assignments (PDA - Presidential drawdown authority), for which state property (in this case, military) is transferred from existence.
The package in the amount of $325 million includes:
- Additional missiles for NASAMS air defense systems (let me remind you that this complex uses AIM-120 AMRAAM of various series as anti-aircraft missiles);
- Next batch of MANPADS Stinger;
- Additional ammunition to HIMARS MLRS;
- Artillery shots for 105 and 155 mm systems;
- 15 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles;
- 10 Stryker armored personnel carriers;
- Javelin ATGM;
- TOW ATGM;
- RPG AT-4;
- 22 million units of ammunition for light small arms and grenades;
- Engineering charges for discharge;
- Means of communication;
- Spare parts etc.
Two things draw attention to themselves: there is no artillery (there is only ammunition for it), despite the fact that both M777 and M109 (both systems are American-made) regularly run into trouble and suffer losses.
Armored vehicles - given the scale of what is happening, 25 units of infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers are, frankly, not generous. On the other hand, the Armed Forces of Ukraine would now be more needed BMP-2 than Bradley and Strikers, but it seems that there is nowhere else to take them.
Supplies of ammunition and anti-tank systems from the United States for $300 million

- artillery shells, tank ammunition, and small arms cartridges;
- precision-guided aircraft munitions;
- Zuni unguided air-to-ground missiles;
- AT-4 anti-tank systems;

- armored medical vehicles.
- thermal imagers and more.
Britain promises delivery of kamikaze drones
The Daily Telegraph in May 2023 wrote that the unmanned aerial vehicles promised by Britain to the armed forces of Ukraine are specially commissioned kamikaze drones.
The systems are developed by the British company QinetiQ, which has created several types of UAVs intended for use in Ukraine. One of these projects is a kamikaze drone with a deltavid wing, the body of which can be printed on a 3D printer.
[2] Representatives of artillery, the British Air Force and Navy, the Laboratory of Military Sciences and Technology, high-ranking military leaders, as well as the DE&S research institute took an active part in the development of the UAV.
Germany will provide a record volume of weapons for 2.7 billion euros - the same as for the entire previous time of the conflict
In May 2023, it was announced that Germany would provide Ukraine with the largest package of military aid since the beginning of the war. It will become the largest for the entire time of the Ukrainian conflict: the cost of weapons will be almost $3 billion, which is approximately equal to the total volume of all previous supplies from Germany from February 24, 2022. Spiegel writes that the €2.7 billion package will include:
- 20 BMP "Marder";
- 30 Leopard 1 tanks;
- 4 IRIS-T-SLM air defense systems (12 launchers and hundreds of missiles to it);
- 200 reconnaissance UAVs;
- 100 combat vehicles (probably light armored personnel carriers).
- 100 rear support vehicles.
- A large supply of ammunition.
In addition, 15 Gepard anti-aircraft systems will be removed from conservation and delivered to Ukraine.
German UAV manufacturer Quantum-Systems GmbH [3] will hand over 105 Vector reconnaissance drones to the APU.
This is the second batch of "Vectors" supplied under contracts between the governments of Germany and Ukraine: in 2022, the Ukrainian army also received several dozen UAVs of the same model.
The main feature of this drone is that it can be assembled as a fixed-wing UAV (Vector modification) or as a tricopter (Scorpion modification). The main characteristics also depend on the type of modification. The drone can fly for up to 2-3 hours at speeds up to 72 km/h. Electro-optical and infrared sensors allow it to detect targets at any time of the day.
The Vector/Scorpion UAV is transported in a special backpack, assembled in 2-3 minutes and takes off vertically without needing a take-off pad. For reconnaissance functions, it is equipped with almost silent electric motors and the ability to broadcast video to ground stations in real time over secure communication channels. A drone can carry a payload (such as an explosive) weighing 700-800 grams in a special compartment.
The United States has allocated Ukraine a new package of military assistance in the amount of $1.2 billion. Part of the air defense destroyed by the strikes of the Russian Armed Forces in Kyiv
In May 2023, the United States allocated a new package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $1.2 billion, the Pentagon said. Among other things, the new tranche includes:
- Additional air defense systems and ammunition for them;
- Equipment for the integration of western air defense launchers, missiles and radars with Ukrainian air defense systems;
- Ammunition for air defense systems designed to combat drones;
- 155 mm artillery shells;
- Commercial services for providing satellite images to Kyiv;
- Support for measures to train Ukrainian military personnel, as well as maintenance of weapons and military equipment.
During an attempt to repel a Russian strike on targets in Kyiv on May 16, 2023, the Armed Forces of Ukraine actively used air defense systems. However, the components of the anti-aircraft missiles fired fell directly onto the streets and hit the lenses of photographers.
The personnel with the wreckage of ammunition made it possible to accurately determine the type of missiles that the Ukrainian forces used: they turned out to be the American PAC-3 Cost Reduction Initiative (CRI), as indicated by the characteristic structural elements.
These high-speed interceptors were first tested in 2011 and are used from 16-charge launchers M902 the US MIM-104 Patriot complex. The remains of these products found on the streets of Kyiv objectively confirm the transfer of the latest missile defense systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The supply of these missiles, along with the transfer of other Western-made air defense systems, speaks of the serious intentions of NATO countries to "close the sky" over the Ukrainian capital.
And yet, this weapon is not a panacea: judging by the video from the cameras, at least one dagger missile fired by the Russian Armed Forces reached the target, hitting the positional area of the Ukrainian air defense. CNN confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine on this day had one less Patriot launcher.
In total, there were three Patriot air defense missile launchers in the position area at the Zhulyany airport. One was destroyed, the second was seriously damaged, but survived. The third launcher avoided damage.
Two installations stood nearby, and the third behind the building. The Russian "Dagger" flew between the installations, but closer to the first: there was a detonation of fuel. The cuttings of the first installation and pieces of soil/asphalt riddled the second.
Later, information appeared from Ministry of Defence Russia that, according to reliably confirmed data, on May 16, as a result of a strike by the Dagger hypersonic missile system in Kyiv, a multifunctional radar station was hit and completely destroyed, as well as 5 launchers of the PATRIOT anti-aircraft missile system manufactured. Romania secretly handed over MLRS to Ukraine APR-40
Romanian 122-mm MLRS APR-40 is a licensed version of the Grad BM-21 produced in the country during the socialist period on the chassis of the Romanian DAC 665T truck (6x6). Deliveries were carried out earlier than May 2023.
Production of 14 Polish MiG-29
On May 8, 2023, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine received ten Polish MiG-29s.
Later it was reported that Warsaw handed over to Kyiv 14 MiG-29 fighters out of 28 promised. According to open data, a total of 32 MiG-29s were in service with Poland.
Poland handed over almost all of its MiG-29s to Ukraine, but is not ready to hand over F-16 fighters, President Andrzej Duda said.
First three of 16 Israeli radars received
The first three of the 16 Israeli radars of RADA Electronic Industries arrived in Ukraine in May 2023.

Delivery of 12 T-72M1 tanks from the Czech Republic
In April 2023, the Czech Republic sent 12 T-72M1 tanks to Ukraine as military aid, bringing the total number of heavy equipment transferred to 62 units.
Later in November 2023, the list of Czech military equipment transferred to Ukraine from army reserves was declassified.

- 4.2 million rounds of ammunition for small arms;
- other equipment.
Supply of shells and guided bombs from the United States for $325 million
The US State Department in April 2023 announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine for $325 million, which will include missiles for HIMARS, mortars, artillery shells and guided aerial bombs.
Sending ammunition from South Korea to Ukraine via Germany
On April 15, 2023, another cargo of ammunition was sent to Ukraine from South Korea - only this time by sea. From the port of Jinhe in Busan in the direction of Germany, a transport ship was loaded with shells to Western-style artillery.
According to the Korean channel @ russiannewsinkorean, transport companies provided the transportation of shells from storage depots to the port of Jinhe from March 31 to April 14. Every day, 20 trucks with a carrying capacity of 18 tons transported about 5400 tons of ammunition.
In general, by the time the container ship left Jinhe, when calculating the approximate weight of one shot of 40 kg, from 125 to 130 thousand shells of 155 mm caliber were transported.
The sea route from South Korea to Europe usually runs through the Strait of Malacca, the Indian Ocean and the Suez Canal, followed by the crossing of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic. On average, depending on the course of the heavy truck, the duration is from 35 to 45 days.
Given this, a transport ship loaded with artillery ammunition will arrive in Germany only by the second half of May.
This delivery looks rather curious against the background of the drain of American secret documents. One of the files there indicated a detailed plan for transporting ammunition from South Korea to Ukraine.
According to these documents, the transfer of shells by sea was supposed to begin in late March - early April with two container ships (on the first it was planned to transport 129 thousand, and on the second - 47 thousand ammunition).
Judging by this data, the merged files specifically for the Republic of Korea are very plausible. And together with the supply of military assistance by air, it turns out that 330 thousand units of 155-mm shots will be transferred from Seoul.
However, in this case, the dates do not quite agree, and in accordance with the drain, the shells should have already been in Ukraine by the end of April. However, there could be a delay, because of which it was necessary to adjust plans.
South Korea's ammunition transfer for Ukraine under the guise of leasing it to the US
The news agency Reuters in April 2023 published an article that the authorities South Korea approved the lease of 500 thousand 155-mm artillery shells of the American army to replenish its reserves.
Earlier, secret documents published on the network said that the leadership of the Republic of Korea faced serious pressure from Western countries due to the refusal to provide direct assistance to Ukraine.
According to a Reuters article, the South Korean government solved this problem in a very original way by leasing artillery shells to the American army, and not to Ukrainian troops.
There are no details on what conditions an agreement was reached. It is unclear whether the Americans can provide the APU shells received from South Korea or not.
Against this background, the activity of Atlas Air transport aircraft has increased over the past few weeks - flights to Rzeszów airbase in Poland are regularly carried out. Atlas Air is an American cargo airline operating air cargo to more than a hundred countries around the world.
At the same time, the main customer is the US Department of Defense. Since the beginning of the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, Atlas Air aircraft, along with the command of air transfers of the US Air Force, have been delivering weapons and ammunition to Poland.
What does this process look like? One of the Atlas Air cargo aircraft made several flights on the route from Osan Air Base (Republic of Korea) - Dover/Elmendorf Air Base (USA) - Rzeszów Air Base (Poland).
The 436th Air Transport Wing of the Air Transfer Command of the US Air Force is located in Dover, and it is this base that is the main transshipment point before sending military cargo to Poland.
The South Korean government thus publicly demonstrates its neutrality, not selling weapons to Ukraine directly, but participating in this indirectly, leasing artillery shots.
The lease agreement between the United States and South Korea is an ideal solution for the authorities in Seoul, the Rybar channel wrote. Both Western partners are satisfied, and the South Korean military-industrial complex will earn money, and the country's government is legally not involved.
Transfer of MiG-29 aircraft from Slovakia

France handed over Akeron MP ATGM to Ukraine
France handed over To Ukraine the ATGM to Akeron MP, France Jean-Louis Thierio, vice president of the National Defense and Armed Forces Commission, said in February 2023.
Akeron MP is a portable ATGM mounted on armored vehicles with a range of up to 4-5 km and allows you to simultaneously implement three methods of targeting:
- shot-and-forget (analogue of FGM-148 Javelin);
- target lock-on outside the operator's line of sight after missile launch (analogue of Spike-NLOS);
- manual guidance over two-way fiber optic cable with the possibility of re-targeting (analogue of Spike-LR).
The ATGM warhead is multipurpose tandem, depending on the selected mode, it is declared that up to 1000 mm homogeneous armor is penetrated behind dynamic protection, a concrete wall up to 2 meters thick, or infantry is hit by tungsten fragments within a radius of up to 15 meters.
An important advantage of the Akeron MP regarding the Dazhvelin ATGM, and at the same time a problem for armored vehicles, Russia is the uncooled IR seeker, which does not require the operator to wait a few seconds before firing. For the described characteristics and features, Akeron MP manufacturers, according to their own classification for advertising purposes, call it a 5th generation ATGM.

Supply of shells from Pakistan
The Indian news agency The Economic Times on January 9, 2023 published an article on the next transfer of military cargo from Pakistan for the Armed Forces of Ukraine through Poland.
According to the Indian agency, at the end of January, a transport ship BBC Vesuvius, chartered by Project Shipping, with 159 containers on board, is planned to arrive at the port of Gdansk in Poland from the port of Karachi in Pakistan.
Among the transported cargo for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the supply of 155-mm artillery shells, M4A2 charging cartridges, M82 capsules and fuses is expected. In return, Ukrainian engineers will allegedly help modernize engines on Pakistani Mi-17 helicopters.
It is possible that information about the supply of Pakistani shells to Ukraine is part of the Indian information campaign, the Rybar channel noted. It may be aimed at destroying the government's relations in Islamabad with the Russian leadership amid a possible agreement to sell oil to Pakistan at a discount.
However, this is unlikely: in August 2022, Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) already sent ammunition to Ukraine directly from the workshops, and the lack of any reaction from Russia untied the hands of Pakistani industrialists.
Delivery of 50 APCs from Turkey
On the afternoon of January 4, 2023, a railway train with Turkish 4x4 Kirpi armored personnel carriers passed through the railway station in the Romanian city of Bakeu in the direction of Ukraine.

Transfer of British Westland Sea King helicopters to the Armed Forces
On November 23, 2022, British Defense Minister Ben Wallace announced the transfer to Ukraine of an additional ten thousand artillery shells and three Westland Sea King WS-61 helicopters withdrawn from the country's Navy.
The training of ten crews, including pilots and maintenance personnel, took place over 6 weeks in Britain. The transfer of the first of the three devices is at the final stage.
The specific modification of the helicopters is unknown. An official statement from the British government said Sea King was needed for "search and rescue missions."
The British Navy had more than a dozen different versions of this technique, ranging from transport to shock modifications and equipped with AWACS.
Given the general blurring of the wording and the tendency of Western specialists to adapt outdated equipment to new conditions, it is likely that in this case the helicopters will adapt to the requirements necessary at the front.

Delivery of 28 tanks from Slovenia
At the end of October 2022, information appeared that Slovenia would transfer 28 M-55S tanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (modernization of the T-55).
Despite the seeming antiquity of these machines, they received quite a good modernization. A new weapons control system with a night vision sight, a ballistic computer and a laser rangefinder, and most importantly, a new 105-mm L7 gun, capable of firing NATO ammunition of a similar caliber, the most modern of which are capable of hitting T-62M tanks and early versions of T-72 tanks. Also, the armor of the tower received dynamic protection, which will allow you to keep a blow from the most common anti-tank weapons of motorized rifle departments in the person of RPG-7 or disposable anti-tank grenades RPG-18/22/26.
The growth of arms supplies from Europe and North America
Western countries have increased the level of military assistance provided to Ukraine after massive missile attacks by the Russian Armed Forces on energy infrastructure facilities.
This fact is a direct consequence of the words of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltentberg that "the defeat of Ukraine will mean the defeat of the alliance, and this cannot be allowed."
It is planned that the supply of modern weapons to Ukraine in the fall of 2022 will increase. As part of a new package of military assistance in October 2022, the following types of equipment and weapons will be transferred to Ukraine:
- 1 IRIS-T battery (control room, mobile radar and three launchers)
- Also, the German side handed over to Ukraine the first TRML-4D radar system for missile defense. A total of four units are expected to be delivered.
The radar was developed four years ago and is one of the most advanced weapons systems Germany has to offer.
TRML-4D is equipped with active phased antenna array. The radar station can simultaneously detect and track up to 1,500 flying objects at an altitude of up to 30 kilometers. The maximum detection range is 250 km (150 km for aircraft and 60 km for supersonic missiles), and the minimum is 10 meters.
Obviously, radars are supplied in addition to IRIS-T-SLM air defense systems, the work of which was noticed near Kyiv in mid-October 2022. At least one more Iris operates in Odessa.

- 500 thousand sets of winter uniforms
- 155 mm artillery ammunition
- 15 howitzers TRF1
- 6 CAESAR ACS
- 3 MLRS LRU M27
- 12 Crotale NG SAM
The Crotale NG is a tactical all-weather air defense system designed to protect the troops of the first echelon. As part of the French Armed Forces, air defense systems provide air cover for the country's main air bases.
The French Armed Forces are armed with only 12 batteries, which over the coming years are planned to be replaced by newer Mamba air defense systems. But there are even fewer of them - only 8 air defense systems, one of them is deployed in Romania.
Despite the loud statements of the French leadership, they will not supply all 12 batteries at once. First, three or four batteries will go to Ukraine as the French armed forces rearm at the Mamba air defense system. And already in the haunting months and years, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will give the remaining Crotale.
Their number is insignificant in conditions of intense hostilities. The number of simultaneously launched missiles and UAVs of the RF Armed Forces is so large that it is unlikely that outdated systems will be able to cope with them, the Rybar telegram channel noted.
Mobility and the ability to fire at low-flying targets will to some extent complicate the work of Russian troops. Crotale air defense systems proved to be quite effective in Saudi Arabia against the same Iranian UAVs, unlike the American Patriot.
At the same time, according to the principle of action, they are similar to the Osa air defense system, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine have practically no left. And Crotale will simply replace the disabled air defense systems.
In October 2022, the Rybar telegram channel reported that on the night of October 23-24, the first batch of Greek BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles would arrive at base 52 of the Tisa engineering battalion in Satu Mare in northwestern Romania.
20 BMP-1 will be delivered on container ships of the Bulgarian company Tempus Link. In addition to Greek armored vehicles, parts for infantry fighting vehicles and Bullspike anti-tank grenade launchers manufactured by VMZ will be transported to Satu Mar.
On the basis of the engineering battalion, the weapons will be transferred to Ukrainian trucks and transported to the railway station in Halmeu. And from there BMP-1 will be sent to Ukraine by the railway.
In total, 40 infantry fighting vehicles are planned for transfer to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Greek army will receive 40 German Marder infantry fighting vehicles in exchange for outdated Soviet-made equipment, the first six of which have already arrived in Greece.
Korean air defense systems for American money through the Czech Republic to Ukraine
The Czech edition of iDNES in September 2022 announced the terms of the "deal of four" for the supply of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the magazine, the United States is behind the new arms supply scheme for Ukraine.
An unnamed Czech arms company will soon receive a Shingun air defense system with ammunition for transfer to Ukraine. The $2.9 billion deal is paid from the U.S. budget.
iDNES journalists claim that the deal has not yet been implemented due to the official policy of "military non-interference" of the Korean government. However, Korean air defense systems may already be on the way to Ukraine: on September 27, a transport Boeing-747-45E 5Y9444 flew from Polish Rzeszów to Seoul.
The Shingung (Chiron) air defense system is designed to defeat low-flying targets - that is, to combat Russian drones and attack aircraft bypassing Ukrainian air defense.
Tactical and technical characteristics of the Shingun air defense system:
- The weight of the launcher is 24.3 kg.
- The diameter of the launcher is 80 mm.
- The maximum radius of defeat is 7 km.
- The maximum height of the defeat is 3.5 km.
- The maximum speed of the rocket is Mach 2.3.
- The range of the non-contact fuse is 1.5 m.

In the summer of 2022, eight 155th Zuzana 2 self-propelled artillery installations were delivered to Ukraine. They are a modification of the Dana self-propelled guns with an increased range of up to 41 km.
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has repeatedly made loud statements about the effectiveness of these combat vehicles, but the reality turned out to be much less rosy. So, in September 2022, all installations after a month of active operation were sent back to Slovakia through Lviv to the plant in Slovak Dubnice nad Vágom. The reason was problems with shock absorbers on the TATRA 8×8 wheel chassis.

In addition, 20 trucks with winter equipment for the Ukrainian military have already left Spain. 10 of them have already arrived in Poland, another 10 are on the way.
The Spanish Ministry of Defense sent 30 thousand sets of warm and field uniforms, 15.6 thousand jackets, 15 thousand sets of clothing for adverse weather conditions and several thousand other items of clothing.
Projectile shipments from Pakistan through Britain
For several months, Western countries (primarily the United States and Britain) have been looking for ways to increase military assistance to Ukraine through the supply of weapons and ammunition from Europe and Central Asia. The priority is the states of the post-Soviet space, but Pakistan was not spared .
According to open data from the global aircraft tracking service ADS-B Exchange, a transport aircraft S-17 the British Air Force with tail number ZZ143 from August 6 to 14 made at least five flights along the route: Akrotiri Air Base (Cyprus) - Nur Khan Air Base (Pakistan) - Akrotiri - Kimpia Turziy Air Base (Romania).
There was no official statement from either Britain or Pakistan about the nature of the cargo being transported. However, at the end of August 2022, a video was distributed on social networks in which Ukrainian gunners unpack 122-mm shells produced at the Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) military-industrial complex of Pakistan. The plant is engaged in the production of artillery ammunition of various calibers for export.
Specifically, 122 mm HOW HE-D30 projectiles designed for D-30 howitzers are manufactured with a unique LIU-4 fuse. From the factory, they were transported to warehouses at the Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi. And the subsequent transportation of the cargo was carried out in British-style containers.
Given the carrying capacity of the aircraft S-17 77,500 kg, at least 387 tons of ammunition were transported for five flights recorded in open sources (some sources say six flights). At the same time, the shells themselves were produced in June 2022 precisely for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This delivery may not be the only military assistance that was secretly provided to Ukraine, the Rybar telegram channel noted. Pakistan's military-industrial complex produces a wide range of ammunition that can be used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Pakistan's arms supply to Ukraine is no surprise. The leaders of both countries have maintained friendly relations in the military sphere since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
It was thanks to the deal concluded with Pakistan to buy 320 tanks that the T-80UD was actually saved from bankruptcy in 1996 by the Malyshev Armored Plant in Kharkov.
Subsequently, the same enterprise produced 6TD-2 diesel engines for Chinese-Pakistani MVT-2000 (Al-Khalid) tanks.
Shahbaz Sharif's administration, which came to power in Pakistan, made it a priority in its foreign policy to restore friendly relations with the West.
And in the face of a deepening economic crisis, the Pakistani military-industrial complex significantly needs any foreign contracts, even such dangerous in terms of political consequences.
At the same time, open support for Ukraine will mean a de facto break in relations between Russia and Pakistan and a crossing out of the prospect of their possible deepening, especially in the energy sector. Amid the floods and the devastation they have caused, Pakistan is hoping for any help.
In addition, the Pakistani government is deeply dependent on external assistance from its main military and economic ally, China. Due to the loans and economic support provided, direct interaction with the West is also a blow to Chinese interests in Pakistan, and it will run counter to the position taken in Beijing on the operation in Ukraine.
Pro-Ukrainian media point to the need to transfer more serious equipment from Pakistan. According to their version, "tanks T-80UD completely created according to the standards of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Ukrainian servicemen will not need time to retrain."
In addition, the same sources say that the Pakistani military-industrial complex produces artillery shells of 130 and 155 mm caliber, which at that time are used in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Pakistan Army Chief of Staff Kamar Bajwa's visit to Britain on August 11, 2022 coincided with current events. The stated purpose of the trip was to "improve relations" and economic assistance to the Central Asian country.
The Pakistani economy in past years has been supported by loans and subsidies from various states and organizations. The current crisis has made the country even more dependent on external financial support.
This is probably what was discussed during the visit of the chief of staff to London in exchange for ammunition supplied to Ukraine.

Britain is preparing a contract with Kazakhstan for the purchase of Soviet weapons for Ukraine
In August 2022, the Beregini hacker group posted documents confirming the fact of negotiations between the Kazakh and British governments through the mediation of the Jordanian company Blue Water Supplies over the supply of Soviet-made weapons and ammunition.
The list includes 200 units BTR-4 various modifications, 100 launchers of the Competition ATGM along with ammunition for them, as well as various types of shells for receiver and rocket artillery and 120-mm mortars.
The contractor is the Kazakh company Technoexport, which has a state license to sell military equipment and is authorized to bargain on behalf of the state, representing its interests.
The documents say that the weapons are intended for the British Ministry of Defense. The deal is for $69,520,000. They oversee the deal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the British military attache in Kazakhstan, which will ensure the transfer of documents and certificates to the end user by diplomatic mail.
Hackers report that documents about the deal were on the computers of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

Macedonia transfers 4 Su-25 attack aircraft to Ukraine
In addition to 30 tanks T-72A North Macedonia will also transfer 4 Su-25 attack aircraft to Ukraine. This was reported in early August 2022 by the Macedonian edition of the MDK.
The publication says that earlier these aircraft were also acquired by Macedonia in Ukraine.
The newspaper reports that in June the Left Party learned from officers working in the army that planes were being inspected and repaired at a military airfield.
"According to the information received, the repair is carried out by Ukrainian military engineers, which indicates that this is being done to deliver them to Ukraine, as a gift from our side, so that they are ready for use at the front," the statement said.
What is even more worrying about the source of the publication is the stripes of the Nazi regiment'Azov 'on the uniforms of Ukrainian personnel who are engaged in aircraft maintenance.
North Macedonia handed over to Ukraine Soviet tanks of T-72, which it had previously bought from Ukraine
In 1999, even before the start of the Albanian uprising in Macedonia, the "People's Liberation Army of Ali Akhmeti" Ukraine and Macedonia signed a contract for the supply of military equipment from Soviet reserves, RBC notes. Deliveries, Kyiv, of course, delayed. A batch of Soviet-made T-72A from 31 combat vehicles came to Skopje only in 2001. "This is the last batch of tanks to Macedonia, which was carried out in accordance with the treaty concluded between Ukraine and Macedonia in 1999. As a contractual side with Macedonia, we assumed certain obligations, and as a predictable and reliable partner, we had to fulfill them, "said [4] Anatoly Zlenko, who was then Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in 2001.
In 2022, the circle closed, and T-72A went back to Ukraine.
Restoration of aircraft and helicopters in Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Moldova
At the time of the start of the SVO, the official number of aircraft in service was from 165 to 178 Su-24/25/27 and MiG-29 units. Plus 23 training and another 67 "mothballed," that is, aircraft withdrawn from combat personnel. In addition to tactical aviation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had just over 200 Soviet-made helicopters.
With the start of a special military operation, it became necessary to restore the combat effectiveness of the air forces. Through the efforts of specialists of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and engineers of NATO countries (mainly from Eastern Europe), the process of returning decommissioned aircraft and repairing damaged ones was established.
In addition to the supply of aircraft and helicopters themselves, the states of Eastern Europe such as Slovakia, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, transferred parts, spare units and units to aviation equipment. Someone is secretive, someone is official. The Polish leadership, for example, did not hide the fact that it transferred all available spare parts for MiGs.
The process of repairing flight equipment is carried out at some airfields in Western Ukraine (Lutsk, Ozernoye, Uzhgorod). However, most of the restoration work is carried out by the same Eastern European countries as Poland, Slovakia and Romania. Slovak transport helicopters fly almost daily to Uzhgorod and back.
Another country that helps the Ukrainian side unofficially is Moldova. The territory of this country not only acts as a transit hub for the transportation of goods for various purposes to Ukraine (from Romanian Suceava through Ryshkany to Mogilyov-Podolsky), but is also used to repair Ukrainian flight equipment. In particular, the Moldovan authorities provided their Marculești airfield for this purpose.
Despite almost daily losses in aviation equipment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the process of repairing aircraft and helicopters decommissioned has already been established and put on stream. Adding to this the supplied weapons from NATO countries, we get quite significant numbers in the amount of old, but still military equipment.
After restoration, flight assets are promptly delivered from the territory of neighboring states through "neutral" countries to air bases in Western Ukraine, where the process of training flight crews takes place.
4 more HIMARS MLRS PCs from the USA
On July 8, 2022, US President Joe Biden signed a decree on the supply of another package of military assistance to Ukraine. The list includes four more HIMARS MLRS launchers, as well as a thousand high-precision shells for them.
The type of ammunition was not officially named, but the description of "high-precision shells that will allow hitting specific objects of the Russian Armed Forces" speaks volumes about the likely transfer of missiles of the ATACMS MGM-140 type. Their range, depending on the specification, can be up to 300 km.

Weapons and equipment come from the warehouses of the Greek army on the Aegean islands. The batch is transported by 21 aircraft of the Armed Forces of Greece, New Zealand and Canada.
In February 2022, Greece handed over 40 tons of "defensive equipment" to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, after which the country's authorities repeatedly promised not to supply new batches of weapons to Ukraine.
Spain cannot hand over 10 German Leopard A4 tanks to Ukraine, because they are in an absolutely deplorable state
In early June 2022, El País, citing sources in the Spanish government, reported that the authorities were Spain preparing to supply heavy weapons to Ukraine, including German Leopard A4 tanks. Approval is required for delivery. Germany
We are talking about tanks that are in storage at a military base in Zaragoza in the north-east of the country, Madrid received 108 used tanks from Germany in 1995 as part of a contract for the production of Leopard in Spain, the newspaper writes.
Initially, the Spanish authorities intended to restore the received cars, but later, due to lack of funding, it was decided to keep them in storage. According to El País sources, Madrid intends to restore and transfer 40 Leopard A4 tanks to Kyiv.
In 2016, officials from the Czech Republic were in Spain checking the health of Leopard 2A4 stored in Zaragoza. The Czech army refused to buy them because they had not been tested.
It was reported that Spain will also train the Ukrainian military to control these tanks, the first stage of the briefing is planned to be held in Latvia, where a contingent of 500 Spanish soldiers with six Leopard 2E tanks is deployed. The second stage of preparation implies training in Spain, sources of the publication said.
On June 11, 2022, it became known that the Spanish government apologized to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz "for excessive excitement" caused by reports of the possible sending of German Leopard 2 Panzer tanks to Ukraine by Spain. This is reported by Business Insider.
It is noted that Madrid initially planned to supply 40 tanks to Kyiv, but reduced their number to a "maximum" of ten and apologized.
According to the publication, it is not yet clear whether the delivery will be carried out, since this "would increase the pressure on Chancellor Olaf Scholz to follow suit."
Spiegel magazine wrote that Germany refuses to hand over its tanks to Ukraine, fearing the "appearance" of these combat vehicles in Russia. According to sources in the German government, Berlin believes that the Ukrainian authorities can use German equipment to attempt an invasion of Russian territory, which will be a reminder of the actions of Nazi Germany during the Great Patriotic War.
Later, on August 1, 2022, the El Mundo newspaper reported that Spain abandoned the idea of supplying Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, as they are in an "absolutely deplorable state."
"We are considering all possibilities today, but I can already tell you that Leopards, which have not been used at the Zaragoza military base for many years, cannot be sent to Ukraine because they are in an absolutely deplorable state," said Defense Minister Margarita Robles.
"There have been appropriate checks which have shown that the tanks are in a state in which they cannot be used. We cannot give them to Ukraine because they will pose a danger to themselves, "Robles added.
Deliveries of anti-aircraft installations, UAVs, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles and UN-prohibited shells from the EU and New Zealand
In May 2022, the supply of military assistance for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues. As part of a new package of military assistance, the following types of equipment and weapons will be transferred to Ukraine:
- 30 Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled guns;
- 60 Aladin UAVs;
- 25 Vector UAVs;
- 7 Songbird UAV.
- 28 Spy Ranger UAV;
- guided missiles to the Milan ATGM;
- 155 mm projectiles to CAESAR mounts. The OGR F1 is a 155mm cluster ammunition. The concept of this kind of weapon implies the rupture of the main warhead in the air with the release of dozens of smaller submunitions capable of covering a vast area. In the case of OGR, the bomb ruptures into 63 small elements. Due to the extremely high likelihood of harm to civilians, cluster shells were banned according to the results of the convention UN Oslo in, developed and approved by 46 states, including France, in 2010. The National Commission for the Destruction of Anti-personnel Mines (CNEMA), operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, France successfully reported on the elimination of all M26 ammunition and OGR F1 in 2016. But in fact, the French not only did not destroy the prohibited type of weapons, but also handed it over to Ukrainian servicemen.
- Denmark intended to transfer 25 Swiss-made Piranha III armored personnel carriers. However, the leadership Switzerland blocked the transfer of equipment to Ukraine in accordance with the neutrality policy.
- 40 infantry fighting vehicles YPR-765.
- 30 light towed howitzers 105 mm L-118.
Thanks to the supply of spare parts from Poland, "mothballed" aircraft are restored
It was reported that by the beginning of the special operation of Russia in Ukraine, there were up to 250 serviceable combat aircraft and helicopters in the combat composition of the Ukrainian armed forces. At the same time, by May 12, 2022, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that since the beginning of the special military operation, 165 aircraft and 125 helicopters have already been destroyed.
At the same time, in May 2022, daily from the same Dnepropetrovsk, Ukrainian aviation makes up to 10 sorties to combat areas. The question arises: where do they get so many planes?
The Polish edition of Onet reports that the Polish leadership has transferred a huge supply of spare parts and weapons for Mig-29 fighters. These deliveries allow you to restore the combat capability of air force aircraft, including by returning to service the "mothballed" once Migi.
In addition to about 200 aircraft that were already in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, she also had a significant number of technically non-light aircraft, which Ukraine itself was physically unable to repair, including due to a lack of spare parts, which led to such a phenomenon as cannibalization, when some aircraft were dismantled to fix others.
For example, when in 2014 the Russian Armed Forces took the Belbek airfield, out of 45 fighters at the airfield, only 4 were combat-ready. And this problem did not disappear after 2014, although they sought to solve it to the best of their ability by increasing the number of combat-ready aircraft.
The number of daily departures of the Mig-29 in the Kharkov, Soledar, Nikolaev and Odessa directions confirms this. They do not exclude the option of hidden transfer of Soviet-made equipment from the countries of Eastern Europe.
Poland handed over 200 tanks to Ukraine T-72
By the beginning of May 2022, Poland had transferred 240 T-72 tanks to Ukraine, in return the country expected to receive a certain number of German Leopard 2A7 tanks, but it was denied this.
Having practically exhausted the supply of Soviet T-72, deliveries of a modified version began - RT-91 Twardy.
Azerbaijan supplies air bombs for APU
The Iraqi TG channel Sabereen News distributed documents that Azerbaijan, in April 2022, secretly supplied ammunition to the Ukrainian military.
According to these papers, CIHAZ Industrial Association (an organization under the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan) sent air bombs for the Ukrainian Ukrspetsexport Group of Companies.
Deliveries were carried out by the Ukrainian airline Meridian from Khartoum Airport (Sudan) to the "famous" Rzeszów Airport (Poland), for further transportation of cargo to Ukraine. Flight MEM5002 was made on April 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30.
In the specification, the cargo is designated Precision Guided Air Bomb and Precision Guided Air Bomb INERT, one such bomb weighs 270 kg. A high-precision guided aerial bomb QFAB-250 LG is suitable for these parameters. This high-explosive ammunition with laser guidance, with a total weight of 270 kg (250 of them b/h) is a fairly new joint development of Azerbaijan and Turkey. By default, it is used by Su-25 attack aircraft, but of course it can be used by other aircraft from the Soviet reserve. Guidance and target designation is possible using the Bayraktar TB2 UAV.
In the specification of 04.04.22 and in the "vouchers" of 06.04.22 there is some discrepancy in the total number of boxes with ammunition and the total weight of the cargo, however, the sizes of boxes with bombs agree in both documents, and the UN0033 code puts an end to any doubts about the content of this cargo.
Thus, Azerbaijan (and to some extent Turkey) directly participated in the supply of high-precision aviation ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, despite official neutrality towards the parties to the armed conflict in Ukraine.
