2025

The volume of production of components for cars in Kazakhstan for the year increased by 12.8%

In 2025, the volume of production of automotive components and accessories in Kazakhstan increased by 12.8% on an annualized basis. This conclusion was reached by Ranking.kz analysts who conducted a study based on data from the Bureau of National Statistics of the ASPiR of the Republic of Kazakhstan and published its results on January 23, 2026.

According to the results of January-December 2025, the volume of production in the segment of automobile parts and accessories amounted to 395.1 million tenge. An increase of 12.8% compared to the same period in 2024 confirms the stable positive dynamics of the industry.

In the medium term, the sector is showing a multiple increase: from 2019 to 2025, output increased 5.2 times. If in 2019 production amounted to 68.7 million tenge, and in 2022 - 183.3 million tenge, then since 2023 the industry has stabilized at the annual level of 400-450 million tenge, which indicates the transition from the phase of rapid growth to the stage of consolidation of the achieved capacities.

The growth in component production is synchronized with the record performance of the Kazakh automotive industry as a whole. In 2025, 171.1 thousand units of vehicles of all types were produced in the country for a total amount of over 2.3 trillion tenge. This parallel dynamics indicates the expansion of the domestic automotive market and the formation of stable demand for both primary components for assembly and products for the aftermarket and repair segment.

Inflation in the auto parts segment in December 2025 amounted to 5.5% in annual terms. For comparison, in December 2024, price increases were recorded at 3.8%. The most significant jump in value in recent years was registered in December 2022 - immediately by 24.4%. Thus, the current price changes in the category remain moderate and significantly below the peak values of previous years.[1]

The growth was facilitated by investments in fixed assets in the amount of 113.6 billion tenge.
