2023: ZimVie released a cervical disc implant. It settles without pruning the bones

A system has been released for the complete replacement of the cervical disk
On September 7, 2022, the company Centinel Spine announced that the surgeon from Texas completed the first complete replacement of the cervical disc with a Prodisc C Vivo spinal implant. More. here
Russian company created implants for the treatment of the spine
At the end of September 2022, the Rusnano group announced the launch of serial production of Pozvonoq implants (the startup is a portfolio company of Rusnano) designed to treat spinal diseases, such as herniated disc, degenerative-dystrophic changes in the spine, as well as spinal tumors. Cervical interbody implants with fixing blades entered the market
On July 20, 2022, Nexus Spine announced the release of its Stable-C cervical interbody implants with integrated anchor blades. Dr. Kirk Clifford performed the first surgery using an implant at a Colorado hospital on July 12. Read more here.
2020: NuVasive C360 announcement - cervical spine implants
In early December 2020, NuVasive released a line of cervical spine devices C360 with the Anterior Cervical Plating system. The new implants are presented with 1.6 mm thin plates and are designed to prevent common postoperative complications such as dysphagia, cervical vertebral displacement and fusion. The developers suggest that the use of new implants will allow surgeons to adjust treatment according to the needs of the patient without fear of serious complications. Read more here.
2016: First Russian cervical vertebral implant created
In November 2016, it became known about the creation by Samara scientists of the first Russian cervical vertebral implant. It is noted that the device is made entirely of domestic materials and costs several times cheaper than foreign analogues. Read more here.
