The new TAdviser review collected expert estimates of the dynamics of the 1C solutions market, information on current technological and market trends, as well as a rating of the largest 1C system integrators.
1 Market Dynamics and Drivers
The growth of the 1C solutions market is estimated as significant in the range of 10-30% for the years ahead. At the same time, the volume in monetary terms is not easy to calculate, and only some experts give approximate estimates.
At the moment, 1C solutions cover about 50% of the Russian market, and in the small business segment this figure is 90%. In 2023, a significant part of demand fell on medium-large companies, which used to be part of foreign business, at the moment this trend has already ended, and demand from initially Russian companies is more stable. A noticeable increase affected the sales of multi-user 1C licenses. Large players drew attention to the company's products. The public sector - one of the main directions of recent years - will remain relevant, and the corporate market will intensify.
Drivers include import substitution, sanctions, deferred demand, changes in legislation, the desire of enterprises to build automation of processes. In 2024, more tenders for ERP implementation began to be held. Many pilots are being created to switch from imported business systems, and an increase in technological partnerships is noticeable.
Support is in great demand, and the demand for support is steadily growing, which directly follows from the growth of the market. The main growth of this part of the market is still ahead. In the meantime, a new phenomenon was the separation from system integrators of local commands, which create their own small companies and work with an eye to automation of the SMB.
In 2023, many companies limited themselves to the introduction of MVP, in 2024 the approach to import substitution became more comprehensive and thoughtful, and the demand for related services increased. More and more 1C partners can boast of experience in migration from Western software, in the whole market there is an increase in the competencies of integrators, and competition is becoming tougher.
State bodies and state-owned companies, a number of large business players, have actively migrated from Western software, but there is no mass exodus in the commercial sector yet. Many companies will "monitor and draw" proposals for more than one year. Most understood that the complexity of "1C" as an ERP system is at the SAP level, and therefore requires deep adaptation of business processes, methodologies, regulations.
In 2025, demand from backbone enterprises, KII, and the public sector may grow significantly. The support segment can increase 1.5-2 times. At the same time, the demand for experts and teams is growing, the boundaries between the implementation and development of solutions are blurred in the market, there is a quick response and a high-quality SLA solution, a positive balance of "quality/speed," which entails additional requirements for qualifications and experience, and integrators, 1C franchisees are following the path of "growing" specialists.
1C is actively working on the development of the partner network, investing in the training of new personnel. Representative offices in the CIS, Turkey, Indonesia are actively developing. Many partners become full-fledged vendors of the product, their solutions grow taking into account the market request.

2 Technological trends
1C has been integrating ML/AI, Big Data and cloud technologies into its solutions for several years. Experts note the good dynamics of the development of functionality in various areas and the demand for changes. In addition, the company continues to develop the classic capabilities of its platform.
The demand for the integration of 1C with third-party products is steadily growing, including in the public sector. At the legislative level, systems appear, integration with which becomes a necessity. Integration projects are getting more complicated. Big business prefers to work with proprietary software, which may include open source elements, but in general, Open Source is wary.
Together with 1C solutions, there is a high demand for IDM class systems. Requirements for information security are growing for integrators. Big business can avoid cloud solutions, preferring closed-loop deployment. Many companies are faced with the need for a complete overhaul of the entire IT architecture, which entails difficulties in interfacing systems, data exchange and access rights management.
1C is actively expanding its presence in all segments, deepening the development of existing tools and offering more and more industry solutions. The market is influenced by the need to migrate from the main solution used - "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management." It is expected that the introduction of complex "1C:ERP" and "1C:ERP to the market. Holding management "will ensure the automation of especially important blocks of activities of industrial enterprises.
