Employee rating, transition to Aurora OS, first software robots. FPC reported on key IT projects
The Federal Passenger Company (FPC) spent 2.1 billion rubles on the introduction of new information technologies in 2024. She cites such data in her reporting, which TAdviser got acquainted with in mid-August. It also says that in 2024 the FPC updated the digital transformation strategy in connection with the requirements for the complete import substitution of certain classes of software and the use of artificial intelligence technologies.
Among the key projects within the framework of digital transformation during the reporting period, the company mentions the transfer of more than 5 thousand automated workplaces to the domestic Astra Linux OS, as well as the replacement of more than 9.5 thousand devices for monitoring the legitimacy of electronic tickets - all of them have been transferred to the Russian Aurora OS.
In addition, more than 7 thousand units of radio stations, peripheral, network and server equipment and software for 34 of 38 software classes used in the company were imported.
FPC also claims that she has already fulfilled her plans to replace operating systems and office software of workplaces of employees of the management apparatus and branches of the company with domestic products by 100%.
The company also includes the development of the FPK Info corporate portal, which allows any employee, regardless of his location, to receive information on his income, vacation, benefits, pensions in a single window, order various certificates and copies of documents, engage in self-education here and now and manage his career. The active audience of FPC Info in 2024 amounted to 39 thousand people, the report says. The total number of FPC employees in 2024 was 56,876 people, of which 63% are directly engaged in passenger service.
Another important project is an automated system for evaluating and building ratings of personnel, cars and trains based on the opinion of customers. It allows you to automatically analyze passenger reviews - from the moment you buy a travel document to the end of the trip - and form estimates for the company's employees. In 2024, employees of train crews received 1.3 million assessments in the system. Based on the information received, ratings are formed and decisions are promptly made to increase the satisfaction of the company's customers.
I must say that in terms of customer satisfaction, there is still FPC where to grow: for example, according to the assessment of the quality of passenger service for 2024, the passenger satisfaction index was 88.2 points on a 100-point scale. This is also information from reporting.
An equally important IT project of the year is the automated management system of the IT service support service, planning, implementation and control of the implementation of the informatization program allows you to automate the processes of the support service and the processes of forming and managing the FPC digitalization program. In November-December 2024, more than 700 applications for technical support of users were completed in it.
To automate routine operations, the FPC introduced the first software robots in 2024, including robots for generating reporting from a single corporate automated system of financial management and resources, processing resumes of applicants, and automating legal operations. A total of eight software robots have been commissioned.
The report mentions that in order to manage the import substitution process in the industry, an automated information system "Import Substitution" of Russian Railways was previously created, which ensures the accounting of imported and import-containing products used in the functionality of the holding's divisions, as well as allows you to keep records and select analogues of products that require replacement. Starting in the second half of 2023, FPCS were given access to this system. And as a result, as of the beginning of 2024, it reflected 334 units of import-dependent products, including 264 units used in the manufacture of new rolling stock, 70 used in its maintenance and repair.
In 2024, FPC paid attention to the development of partnerships with various companies in the digital sphere. For example, the company entered into a cooperation agreement with S7 Group in order to develop a service for passengers through the exchange of experience and mutual integration of information systems. In addition, an agreement was concluded with T1 on the joint development and development of digital services based on domestic artificial intelligence technologies.
In 2025, it is planned to develop and develop information systems and digital services, as well as continue the transition to domestic software and electronic products, the FPC reports.
FPC will create a system for monitoring the quality of passenger and baggage transportation with a mobile application on the Aurora OS
As TAdviser discovered, the Federal Passenger Company decided to create a special automated system for monitoring compliance with transportation rules, service quality and quality management analysis. According to the Kontur. Zakupki system, in early October 2024, the company announced a tender for the development of the Monitoring NPP with an initial price of 195 million rubles. Read more here.
