A significant role in the growth of turnover was played by the trend of import substitution, says Dmitry Chernykh, chairman of the Galaxy board. He noted that it was 2017 that became the year of import substitution.

In addition, in 2017, Galactica acquired 120 new partners. As another example, he cited the Frontstep CIS company, which previously dealt mainly with Western products, and now collaborates with the Galaxy.

Against the background of an increase in the number of partners, "Galactica" has revised the program of work with companies with the status of "Strategic Partner." Dmitry Chernykh explained to TAdviser that Galactica excluded a centralized approach and switched to a more vendor model of work. The company is not trying to manage and implement projects itself, but is trying to do everything to increase the competence of partners and transfer the consulting part to them, he says.

In 2016, the revenue of Galactica Corporation amounted to 2.228 billion rubles, which is 4.3% higher than the same indicator in 2015. In the ranking "TAdviser100: The Largest IT Companies in Russia" at the end of 2016, the Galaxy Corporation took 45th place.
