2017: The concept of the Industry 4.0 is implemented. What's next? The forecast from the Chief information officer of Cherkizovo
The CIO of Cherkizovo Vladislav Belyaev at the TAdviser SummIT conference which took place on November 29, 2017 told what technology trends have an impact on the IT strategy of the companies, having placed emphasis on such industries as agriculture and the meat-processing industry.
He noted that often IT strategy is little connected with the made decisions and tasks facing IT: she lives separately, and real work of IT in the companies proceeds in some plane. Also Belyaev emphasized that IT strategy is the not necessarily detailed plan and the presentation which is annually discussed on Board of Directors. Strategy is what daily defines steps to the companies and behavior, he considers.
The first trend – IT becomes goods: what is bought and implemented – everything more represents goods and even exchange commodity, the Chief information officer of Cherkizovo explained. The trend of the relation to product IT as to goods is more and more noticeable in the Russian and world markets, and it has an impact on the made decisions and a method of decision making.
The attitude towards IT as to goods is defined by several key moments. In particular, for customers, for business the price and speed of implementation become more and more important, Vladislav Belyaev explained.

At a low level the IT is already goods. Nobody thinks, for example, of some simple crucial elements of IT infrastructure, such as switches, Belyaev noted. All this already just goods which are selected proceeding from quality, a guarantee, delivery dates. At this IT become service, service more and more – with what business and the end user works.
The second trend – everything that is connected with transition to "the Industry 4.0": to a paradigm where the separate systems which in "the Industries 3.0" lived separately from each other are integrated now. All systems - from production robots to ERP systems - become a uniform chain and work in a uniform information field. It leads to effective deserted production, Belyaev noted.

Transition that information from all participants of production process will be flown down in a uniform information cloud which will allow all participants to place effectively orders should become the next stage and to receive answers and to communicate. Perhaps, at this stage the blockchain will be used, Belyaev assumed.
In "the Industry 5.0" production will become more compact and will become closer to those places where its product is necessary, is closer to the consumer. And it will demand efforts from IT in terms of providing such complex distributed structure.
Vladislav Belyaev carries the self-training systems and machine vision to the third trend. Such systems will not force out the person, and will change an interaction logic of people – a system, he considers.
The director of information technology of Cherkizovo noted also that, according to it, modern generation of CEOs, top managers of the companies all more understand IT.

IT – one of many tools for business strategy implementation, the director of information technology of Cherkizovo summarized. And the role of "internal" IT will come down more and more to standard problems of any service function of the company. At the same time the key requirement to IT is "simplicity and quick start". Against the background of the specified technology trends the share of outsourcing, "cloud solutions" and products in the form of ready services will increase, Belyaev noted.
