Russian "BaikalBioMed" presented a device for transporting intestinal microbiota to a patient
The Russian developer of medical equipment "BaikalBioMed" presented the KAFFEE machine "Kindly Anaerobic Fast FaEcal Exchange," designed to prepare and transport the gut microbiota to a patient. Gut microbiota enzymes found to create universal donated blood
Researchers from the Technical University of Denmark and Lund University have discovered enzymes capable of removing sugar from red blood cells, which are used to create A and B antigens in the blood. 2022: Australia first to officially allow microbiota transplant
On November 9, 2022, the Australian company BiomeBank announced that it had received approval from the local Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for its gut microbiota-based drug Biomictra.
