Sale of radiopharmacology business

GE Healthcare's radiopharmacology business includes 31 offices in 18 states, including headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Now they will be headed by Radioisotope Life Sciences CEO Werner Gruner, Chief Investment Officer Jaco van Niekerk and Chief Operating Officer Shane Cobb. According to the company, Radioisotope Life Sciences plans to invest $2 billion over the next 10 years in expanding the network, as well as in scientific and technical research. The company also created a task force that will have to draw up an action plan in the face of an estimated increase in demand for specialized diagnostic services.
Nearly five hundred former GE Healthcare employees nationwide have joined the Radioisotope Life Sciences team. The company is expected to move its headquarters to Florida's east coast before the end of the year and begin talks with various economic development boards as well as municipalities over business expansion.[1]

Purchase of Puridify
On December 1, 2017, U.S. medical device manufacturer GE Healthcare announced the acquisition of Puridify Limited. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
The FibroSelect nanofiber-based substance purification platform, thanks to GE Healthcare, is expected to improve performance during the process development phase and small-scale biopharmaceutical production.
