The TAdviser analytical center has released a new map "Russian Software and Hardware Complexes," on which it noted the Russian developers of such solutions.

The map includes more than 300 domestic companies - developers of software and hardware systems (PAC) for various fields of application. During the preparation of the map, PACS were segmented into 31 categories in four main segments: PAC for high-load systems, functional PAC, automated workplaces and niche solutions.

About the factors hindering the development of this market

In our opinion, there are no critical factors that hinder the development of this market. Some legal difficulties can be noted, for example, when a PAC developer company requires the use of equipment that is not in the registers of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to implement the task.

In the current sanctions conditions, equipment manufacturers are focused on the maximum closure of market needs and due to a lack of resources to create new products, they cannot always quickly produce equipment with support for all new technologies. We believe that these are issues of time, and gradually the situation will level out.

The PAC market can be conditionally divided into four large segments: data center infrastructure - PAC for high-load systems; Hardware (Appliance) - functional PACs; automated workplaces and niche solutions. In the center are infrastructure PACs: data storage, virtualization, database management, big data management. Other systems are built over infrastructure units, complementing them with certain functions (for example, security, access control, user directories).

Manufacturers of data center infrastructure PAC have a high barrier to entry into the market, since a significant amount of equipment, significant investments and production resources are required.
