1994: Division of the area into Bolshaya and Malaya Sukharevskiye

The unification of two Sukharevsky squares into one was recognized as incorrect, since this required renumbering of buildings, unacceptable in this case (the address of the Sklifosovsky Institute of Emergency Medicine changed ). Therefore, in 1994, when re-approving the renaming made in 1990-1993, they left the old division of Sukharevskaya Square into Bolshaya and Malaya.

1990: Unification of the two squares and the return of the name Sukharevskaya

Upon the return of the historical name in 1990, both Collective Farm Squares were merged under the single name Sukharevskaya.

In 1939, Collective Farm Square was divided into Big Collective Farm and Small Collective Farm.

1934: Demolition of the Sukharev Tower and renaming to Collective Farm Square

The Sukharev Tower was destroyed in 1934 as part of the general reconstruction of Moscow.

In 1934, Sukharevskaya Square was renamed Collective Farm Square "in honor of the 1st All-Union Congress of Collective Farmers-Drummers."

1695: Construction of the Sukharev Tower according to the project of Mikhail Choglokov

Sukharev Tower is a monument of Russian civil architecture, built in 1695 in Moscow according to the project of the outstanding Russian architect and artist of the late XVII century and the first quarter of the XVIII century - Mikhail Ivanovich Choglokov at the intersection of the Garden Ring, Sretenka and 1st Meshchanskaya Street (now Mira Avenue).
