2014: Five Russian IT companies in the top 100 outsourcers in the world

At the end of June 2014, the International outsourcing Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) published the ninth ranking of the Top 100 best outsourcing companies in the world (The Global Outsourcing 100).

The rating is formed by IAOP annually and includes the world's leading companies that provide outsourcing services in various areas - not only in the field of ITO and BPO, but also engineering systems, real estate, asset management, production and logistics.

The rating includes both recognized industry leaders and rising stars. The independent panel of judges formed by IAOP includes leading industry experts - representatives of higher education institutions in the field of business, executives and IT directors of large companies.

The ninth edition of The 2014 Global Outsourcing 100 rating included five Russian companies. Of these , Luxoft was in the highest position - 18th place . In addition to it, the list includes Auriga ( 89th place), EPAM Systems (51st place), Maykor (38th place) and Rexoft (93rd place).

In the 2014 ranking, Luxoft entered the top 20 best outsourcers in the world

EPAM Systems and Luxoft are the centenarians of the list - the companies were present in its very first edition. Auriga and Rexoft began to appear in it later. Maykor was included in the list in 2014 for the first time. In addition to the main rating, it also entered the top ten outsourcers in sub-lists in terms of revenue growth, staff growth and geographical representation.

Artezio, a member of the Lanit group, which was present in the ranking for three consecutive years, was not included in the main list in 2014. At the same time, the company fell into the sub-list of ten "rising stars" by geographical presence. Another Russian company that was present in The 2013 Global Outsourcing 100 - First Line Software was not included in the list .

In 2014, Artezio explained to TAdviser that it is based on 8 indicators: company size, growth, global presence, customer feedback, industrial awards and company achievements, certificates, personnel management, the influence of top managers on the development of the industry, while in the short and medium term the company can affect only some of them.

"This year, due to the reorganization of our North American office, we lost several points at once in terms of the global presence and visibility of our top managers: competitive documentation for ratings should be confirmed by references to English-language third-party sources, which was difficult for us to do with more activity in Russia than in the western market in 2013, "says Oleg Yudin, marketing director at Artezio
.

In addition, colleagues from other companies have finally "tried" participating in the ratings as a good marketing tool, so competition increases every year, adds Oleg Yudin, expressing confidence that next year his company will return to the main hundred of the rating.
