2020: Inventive Retail Group purchased 7 Nike shops from A3 Retail Group

On September 3, 2020 Inventive Retail Group announced acquisition at A3 Retail Group of seven shops Nike in Moscow, including flagman on Kuznetsky Bridge. The transaction passed in a format of merge of child structure Inventive Retail Group of Ap and RAS LLC to the managing director of A3 Retail Group of AZ Sport LLC.

To this Inventive Retail Group managed 24 Nike shops in Russia — thereby the transaction increased number of objects of network in group by 29%, up to 31 (they are located in 11 cities of Russia). In total in the Russian Federation there are 65 shops of a sports brand, nearly a half (47%) of which belongs to the company Philip Gensa (by September 3, 2020).

Merge of two companies will allow to make experience of buyers of Nike in Russia by more uniform and also it is essential to increase operational efficiency of business for the realization account of synergy effect, reported in the press release.

According to the president of Inventive Retail Group Tikhon Smykov, it was necessary to sports business in the period of a pandemic of a coronavirus of COVID-19 most difficult, however it does not change perspectives of development of the sports market in Russia therefore the company continues to invest in this direction.

The company also reminded that the first Nike shop was opened by the Inventive Retail Group group in August, 2012 in shopping center "Aura" in Novosibirsk. It is expected that the group will continue consolidation of Nike shops despite a pandemic and crisis.[1]
