In January, 2008 the head of directorate of a prime-taymovogo of broadcasting of radio programs of Mayak radio station of VGTRK 20-year-old Vasily Brovko who had experience of start of media startups left the post. In addition, Brovko worked as the producer of political and entertaining broadcasting blocks at O2TB TV channel. Together with it the Mayak radio station was left by his colleague Oleg Berkovich, they decided to create the business.

On January 28, 2008 they founded Apostle of Media Groups company. The company name — Apostle reflected the mission of the company — to inform of the ideas of partners wide audience.

Since February, 2008 Brovko and Berkovich began to promote the Russky Pioner magazine which Chief Editor was Andrey Kolesnikov — the journalist from Vladimir Putin's pool. Vasily Brovko held a position of the creative director in the magazine.

For the magazine the cycle of actions with participation of the Russian media persons and political establishment — "Pioneer readings" among which permanent participants there were a Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Vladislav Surkov, the actor Ivan Okhlobystin, the head of the public TV channel Russia Today Margarita Simonyan was created.

In the fall of 2008 Apostle advanced spirits of the Lubeh brand and the book "Splinters" by the businessman Alexander Korotenko, then organized the opening ceremony of flagman shop Vassa&Co. On this event master classes in creation of images in style of the last Vassa collection with Konstantin Kryukov, Irena Ponaroshku, Vladimir Tishko's participation and others were held.

Then Apostle was engaged in promotion of the book "I want to get to Forbes, the written Nadezhda Kopytina, the head of Ledova company.

The TV host Tina Kandelaki joined cooperation with Apostol company that developed into partnership on business later. Kandelaki joined the board with the social capital.

The founder of Apostol Vasily Brovko was the CEO of the center of strategic communications till 2013, being responsible for operational and strategic management. After that the chief executive of state corporation Sergey Kulikov and the head of Rostec Sergey Chemezov made the decision to appoint him to the position of the deputy chief executive — the head of service of communications of corporation. Brovko started the responsibilities on December 1, 2013, because of it he removed from himself powers of the CEO of Apostol company and left a shareholding structure of the company, having sold the share.

In the fall of 2013 Apostle completed the formation of holding structure:

  • Apostol Media (Russian PR, digital communications);
  • Apostol Media Research (analytics in the field of media);
  • "Apologist" (production of graphic, audio-and video content);
  • ARDA (R&D, developments and consulting in the field of information technologies);
  • Hunt Haggarty (branding and design);
  • "Way" (development, management and promotion of web projects);
  • AM-invest (investment into areas of media);
  • Smart school (educational project).

In December, 2013, after Vasily Brovko's leaving in Rostec, Kandelaki held a post of the CEO of Apostle. After that the agency became active to receive contracts with the state departments and the companies.

In 2014 revenue Apostle made 602.5 million rubles, net profit — 4.9 million rubles.

As of February, 2016 Tina Kandelaki owned 99.5% of stocks of Apostol LLC, 0.5% — Lyudmila Ermakova. In February, 2016 RBC announced Kandelaki's plans to sell the agency which press service announced possible change of the controlling shareholder through occurrence of the international investment fund or issue of options to top managers.

In the spring of 2016 the shareholding structure of the company changed: on 25% of the company Arkona LLC and Cyprian Adnala Limited belonging to Kandelaki of 50% of stocks of Apostol on April 22 received passed to the Ltd company. On July 13, 2016 by Apostol LLC it was renamed into Novaya strategiya LLC. A month before it Tatyana Laskina who was a co-owner of Portal Ltd which stopped the activity in 2011 earlier was appointed the CEO of the company.

On July 22, 2016 the statement for bankruptcy of "New strategy" came to Arbitration court of the Moscow region, a claim was submitted by Statio company (Statio prodzhekt LLC) which is engaged in development of design of office interiors and delivery of office furniture and the equipment. Nonpayment by the Apostle of 1.28 million rubles quality of debt for the delivered goods of this organization became the reason. In October, 2016 the court introduced a monitoring procedure concerning "New strategy", the total amount of claims to "New strategy" (as well as to the legal successor of Apostle) by December, 2016 was about 12 million rubles. Insolvency proceeding continued exactly two years and came to the end on October 4, 2018.

By this moment most child structures of Apostle were liquidated or replaced shareholders, the Circuit follows from base ". Focus". So, the legal successor Apostol Media of "Informrazvitiye" it was declared bankrupt in the fall of 2016.

After Tina Kandelaki's leaving from a post of the CEO, her duties till June, 2016 were occupied by Yulia Vostrikova working in the agency six years. After Kanedlaki's leaving, Apostle in 2016 could not win on the state tenders though in 2015 the agency received 15 contracts for total amount of 338.5 million rubles, and in 2014 — eight contracts for 98.6 million rubles. In February, 2016 the director of branding agency of Depot WPF Alexey Andreyev noted that Apostle received government contracts "at the expense of a personal contact of Tina Kandelaki".
