2024: Martin Group bought the Banner of October

The group of companies, a "Martin" well-known Russian producer of snack products, has expanded its presence in the agricultural sector. On October 9, 2024, it became known about the acquisition by the company of two agricultural enterprises in - Krasnodar Territory Znamya Oktyabrya JSC and JSC, "Factory" the total revenue of which in 2023 amounted to about ₽1,5 billion.

According to Interfax, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia approved the petition of Artents LLC, a member of the Martin Group of Companies, to acquire 100% of the shares of Znamya Oktyabrya JSC and 51% of the shares of Zavodskoye JSC. Taking into account the existing share, this will allow Artents to gain full control over both enterprises.

Martin Group bought two Krasnodar agricultural companies with revenue of 1.5 billion rubles

Znamya Oktyabrya JSC specializes in growing grain crops in the Krylovsky district of the Krasnodar Territory and has units in the Altai Territory and the Tula Region. The company's revenue in 2023 reached ₽1,086 billion, of which ₽1,02 billion fell on the sale of agricultural products. Net profit amounted to ₽545,12 million.

Zavodskoye JSC is also engaged in agricultural production, including the cultivation of grain crops. In 2023, the company's revenue amounted to ₽336,359 million, of which ₽332,7 million - from the sale of agricultural products. The company's net profit reached ₽175,63 million.

Martin Group of Companies is a large Russian non-public holding in the food industry. The company produces a wide range of products under the same name brand, including seeds, crackers, chips, jam, pasta and carbonated drinks. In addition, the group is developing a champignon business.

Earlier, Martin Group invested ₽2,5 billion in a complex for growing champignons in the Voronezh region. The company also plans to invest an additional ₽3,1 billion to expand this project and build a French fries plant in the same region.[1]
