The consortium Blockchain.Aero develops a uniform blockchain platform for mass passenger city aircraft with the internal economy, providing all conditions for flights.

2017: Formation of blockchain consortium

At the International MAKS-2017 air show in Moscow in July it was announced creation of technology blockchain consortium for infrastructure of mass city aircraft and the air taxi — Blockchain.Aero. Bartini — the resident company of technopark Skolkovo will become the first developer of aircraft who will use this technology. The Bartini project develops the elektrolyota of vertical take off and landing conforming to technical requirements of the Uber Elevate program.

It is supposed that after implementation of the Blockchain.Aero blockchain platform in city aircraft and the air taxi will become possible:

• Transition to the opened and automated business processes, flights on tokens, as trips on gasoline in the normal car (the user makes transaction in tokens from the purse on a machine purse, and that, in turn, makes transaction to electrogas station);
• Cost determination of flight on the open algorithm considering demand and supply and also a consumption of operational materials;
• Problem solving of ecology and city traffic, in particular, due to use of the air taxi — an alternative of development of city transport (however the maximum effect of air transport in the city, according to experts, will manage to be reached when sharing resources, or rideshare).

"We are glad that on behalf of the Bartini project we received partners with experience in creation of test and production aircraft and also access to the examination necessary for full functioning of the internal ecosystem providing conditions for flights, city aircraft" — the cochairman of consortium Blockchain Aero Stanislav Polozov who is also the director of business development an Emercoin project blockchain noted.

"In the modern world the term "tokenization" — a possibility of ownership directly of a product or its function through a counter on a blockchain appeared. So turnover of financial assets is already provided. In our case it is offered to tokenize a cash resource of aircraft in order that it was possible to own it directly. The idea that it is possible to own not means of payment of flight, and flight sounds in a revolutionary way — the development director of Bartini Ilya Hanykov considers. — But, it seems, to all appearances in the future we will not be need money to own things when using tokens we are able directly to own their value — function which they for us represent".
