Bradbury Lab can pin the main hopes on restructuring of Svyazinvest holding during which the interregional companies of communication (MRK) entering into holding will be merged into Rostelecom. The MRK is actively developed by services of IP television, for example, Dalsvyaz is the second in value of a subscriber base the operator of this technology in Russia, servicing 100 thousand, YuTK services 30 thousand subscribers, SZT ― 20 thousand. After completion of consolidation Rostelecom is going to create the uniform aggregator of video content, reported in the press service of operator. However, the representative of Rostelecom adds that negotiations with Bradbury Lab were not conducted yet.

Svyazinvest already has a partner for aggregation of content under IP television. It is the Synterra Media company entering into Sinterra which began to act as the aggregator for different as MRK since 2006. Passed Synterra under control of MegaFon, however, into the companies assure this summer that intend to continue cooperation with the enterprises of Svyazinvest.

The source in one of cable operators confirmed to CNews[1]that conducted negotiations with the distributor headed by Mikhalkov, "however the agreement we did not sign as the TV channels and movies offered by them including products of the film studio of "Trite" belonging to Mikhalkov, we buy directly", ― were explained by a source.

Comments

"In the market of distribution of TV channels there are already largest players whereas purchase of the rights to broadcast of movies is not in great demand among cable operators, ― the Chief Editor of the Kabelshchik magazine Yana Belskaya speaks. ― It is done only by those who make own TV channels or who has an opportunity to provide services like "video on - to a request", but only operators of IP television, as a rule, are able to afford it".
