"Telecom asset" - the company, the partner of Svyazinvest. Is engaged in resale trunk and generation of local traffic by means of file exchange network Sharemna and other systems. Receives traffic from the Russian trunk operators and trafikogeneryashchy resources, reselling it to regional operators. Primary clients of the company are the enterprises of Svyazinvest holding: Rostelecom, Uralsvyazinform, North-West Telecom and also regional holding "ER-Telecom" "Svyazinvest"^[1].

In September, 2010 assure of the press service of Rostelecom that "at the moment Telecom asset does not render any services to the operator, in particular, does not sell and does not buy traffic".

The former marketing director of ER-Telecom Dmitry Sutormin heads Telecom Asset. The company, according to the USRLE, is registered in Perm with the authorized capital of 10 thousand rubles.

In 2010 revenue in the amount of $5.3 million, EBITDA ― by $3.7 million, net profit ― in $3 million is planned.

2009

Revenue of Telecom asset in 2009 made $4.1 million (growth ― 56%), an indicator of EBITDA ― $2.7 million, a margin on EBITDA ― 66%, net profit ― $2.1 million. The total capacitance of channels in 2009 made 230 Gbps.

Strategy

Plans of Telecom asset concerning Svyazinvest are rather ambitious: the company intends, having made Svyazinvest the uniform purchase quotation of necessary tanks and having offered the best wholesale price, to sign sales agreements of trunk Internet traffic in Rostelecom and all Interregional companies of communication (MRK) entering into holding.

Besides, Telecom asset wants to create in all MRK nodes the centers of collecting of local traffic, to be engaged in control and gradual closing of local piracy resources and also to sign peer-to-peer agreements with the largest regional players and to purchase owners of the largest local resources.

Estimates of activity of the company

The CEO of Svyazinvest Evgeny Yurchenko confirmed to CNews information on Telecom asset. According to him, cooperation with this company is unprofitable to the enterprises of holding. "The only reason for which it is necessary to buy traffic from Telecom asset is that Rostelecom is headed by the former managing director of MCP Alexander Provotorov", ― declared to Yurchenko.
