2018: Autodesk purchased BuildingConnected for $275 million
On December 20, 2018 Autodesk announced acquisition of BuildingConnected for $275 million. The buyer will transfer all this amount from own means, without attracting the actions to the transaction.
As reported in the press release, absorbing BuildingConnected, the Autodesk company will be able to expand a product portfolio and to create the digital platform for sales of construction goods and services.
The CEO of Autodesk Andrew Anagnost, commenting on BuildingConnected purchase, noted that Autodesk aims to integrate all processes of construction including connected with design, construction of buildings and their service.
