History
2016: Re-registration as LLC CAB EichEnBi Bank
In 2016, Korea Exchenge Bank Rus LLC (CAB Bank Rus), a subsidiary of Korea Exchange Bank (KEB), which is the fifth largest bank in South Korea, was re-registered as CAB EichEnBi Bank LLC. The change in the official name of the bank was recorded in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities on March 10, 2016.
Everything indicates that the change of name of the Russian bank is associated with the reorganization and renaming of its parent structure. So, Korea Exchange Bank in 2015 integrated with Hana Bank, an affiliate through a common parent organization - Hana Financial Group - and continued to work as KEB Hana Bank.[1]
2014: Opening of Korea Excenge Bank Rus
In 2014, KEB received permission from the Bank of Russia to open a subsidiary in Russia. Korea Excenge Bank Rus received a license from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in June 2014, and in September the official opening of the Russian branch of the South Korean bank took place in Moscow.
2008: Opening of KEB representative office in Russia
In 2008, KEB (Korea Exchange Bank) opened a representative office in Moscow.
2005: KEB Cooperation Agreement with VTB
KEB (Korea Exchange Bank) was founded in 1967, one of its main areas of activity is servicing foreign trade. In South Korea 2005, KEB Bank entered into a cooperation agreement Russian bank VTB with in the field of trade financing, then began operations with Russian rubles.
