Cashew  is the Belarusian company developing the service of QR payments of the same name which  is embedded in  mobile applications of banks. The technology allows sellers to accept cashless payments without installation of terminal equipment, and  to buyers to be calculated with  the help of the application, having scanned the QR code. Besides, service reduces  the transactions commission. 

History

2020: Getting into the program of support of the British government Global Entrepreneur Programme

At the end of February, 2020 the Belarusian financial technical-company for the first time was included in the program of support of foreign developers of innovations of the British government Global Entrepreneur Programme. Cashew became this startup.

Projects are selected through Embassies of Great Britain   based on monitoring and  personal meetings with  founders of startups worldwide. Specialists select startups with  foreign faunder who are interesting to relocation. We  also received the letter with  the offer to sell the project in  the market of Great Britain — the founder of Cashew Vladimir Serzhanovich reported the dev.by edition.

According to him, Cashew will have so-called dealmaker — the successful entrepreneur who will supervise the project, to advise a command, to help to attract investors and  clients, to organize communication with  the state organizations. Besides, the company legal support will be given.

Duration of Global Entrepreneur Programme is one year.  The presentation of the program within which the foreign technology companies receive the help for moving in Great Britain and conducting business there will take place in March, 2020 in London.

The Cashew command selected the British market key for the development along with Belarusian earlier. The edition notes that the company attracted investments from the British bank Barclays and took place in Techstars accelerator in  Tel Aviv.[1]
