About the center
Federal state institution "Center of the Emergency Psychological Assistance Emercom of Russia" is the certified rescue unit and the leading scientific and practical center in the field of psychology of extreme situations.
Three main objectives are assigned to the center:
- rendering emergency psychological assistance to the population which was injured at emergencies;
- psychological maintenance of activity of specialists of a system of Emercom of Russia;
- scientific activity and management of psychological service of the Ministry.
The psychological service Emercom of Russia integrates the staff of the center and seven of its branches, specialists psychologists in territorial authorities, fire and rescue groups, military units, educational institutions and the organizations of Emercom of Russia – more than 800 specialists in all regions of the country.
