2014: Change of the name with Cherepovets highest military engineering college of radio electronics
The order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 143-P of February 5, 2014 to educational institution returns the historical name – Cherepovets highest military engineering college of radio electronics (CHVVIURE).
1998: Conversion to Cherepovets military engineering institute of radio electronics
In 1998 the school is transformed to Cherepovets military engineering institute of radio electronics (ChVIIRE).
1974: Conversion to Cherepovets highest military engineering college of radio electronics
On March 5, 1974 ChVVKUS was transformed to Cherepovets highest military engineering college of radio electronics (CHVVIURE) with the five-year term of training.
1970: Conversion to Cherepovets highest military command college of communication
May 21, 1970. The Cherepovets military college of communication was transformed to the Cherepovets Highest Military Command College of Communication (CHMCCC) with the four-year term of training.
1957: Formation
On September 7, 1957 in the city of Cherepovets on funds of the reformed Lepelsky military and infantry school the Cherepovets Military College of Communication (CMCC) was created. Process of formation of new military school came to the end by October 10, 1957.
