Performance indicators

Height 239

Pipe welding workshop "Height 239" is the first project of the domestic "white metallurgy," a qualitatively new type of metallurgical industry based on innovations, the highest level of technologies, maximum automation of processes and fundamentally new working conditions. The unusual name of the new production is explained by the fact that 239 meters is the height of the geographical point where the new workshop is located, corresponding to the height of the southern part of the Ural Ridge above sea level. The workshop produces large diameter pipes for oil and gas pipelines. They are intended for use in the construction of trunk pipelines in offshore development areas, seismically active zones, permafrost areas, hard-to-reach areas, when laying underwater and offshore pipelines.

Karma White Metallurgist to increase employee KPI

In September 2019, ChelPipe Group Marketing and Communications Director Fatykhova Narine told how to increase the KPI of employees and financial performance of the group using a mobile application.

The efficiency of interaction between employees along with new technologies not only affects business processes, but also transforms them. According to the consulting group, KPMG competent internal communications can reduce the operating costs of companies by 10-15%, reduce the number of complaints from customers by 50%, increase sales by 10-20%, and EBITDA by 15-70%.

Narine Fatykhova spoke about the project to increase internal customer concentration in the ChelPipe Group, the tool of which is the mobile application "White Metallurgist Karma," in which employees assess each other by universal key indicators affecting the company's business processes. Through the application, a specialist, in cooperation with an "internal supplier" (an employee of another department - a lawyer, engineer, accountant, etc.), evaluates him according to the criteria of client centrism, which, together with consultants, were brought out during the strategic part of the work by ChelPipe Group employees. The result of all assessments forms the index of customer centrism of the company, a separate division of middle managers, and each employee and is placed on the Lifetime scoreboard where everyone in real time can see the "pulse" of customer centrism of the entire group.

"ChelPipe Group has launched a transformation program" Nomination "and is working on building a customer-centric business model. The key role in this is played by the level of cross-functional interaction. In the pilot version of "Karma White Metallurgist," only office workers are evaluated, there are only about 500 people. Further, the application will become a tool for the formation of client-centric behavior of all 25 thousand employees, "says Narine Fatykhova.
