Committee on informatization and new technologies of the Republic of Khakassia

In March, 2014. there was a resolution on the statement of provision of Government Office of the Republic of Khakassia according to which the regional Committee on informatization and new technologies stops the activity.

This committee was responsible for implementation of state policy in the field of informatization and new technologies in the territory of the republic for increase in efficiency of governance process and also for creation and development of a common information space in the region.

According to plans of the authorities of Khakassia, the Committee on informatization and new technologies will be reorganized by accession to Government Office of the republic to which, in turn, implementation of state policy in the field of informatization will be assigned.

According to the resolution issued in March, in particular, directly the Government Office of the Republic of Khakassia will be responsible for creation, functioning and maintenance in current status of regional IT systems and implementation of standard project solutions, creation and support of the electronic government, development and implementation of regional IT programs now, etc.

The Government Office will also perform functions of the operator SIEI in the region and function of the state customer at implementation of purchases of goods, works, services for ensuring the state needs.

According to the March resolution, stops the activity and legal committee of the Republic of Khakassia which functions also pass to Government Office.

The authorities of the republic announced intentions to liquidate these committees as independent units and to attach them to government office earlier. As then the Chairman of the Government of Khakassia Victor Zimin explained, before it serious work on the analysis of the existing structure of regional authorities regarding its optimization as a result of which - such decision is made was carried out.

He said to heads of the liquidated committees that this solution is not based on any claims to them personally as to employees and does not comprise any political background. Zimin also noted that experience of heads of committees will be useful in their further work in republican Government Office.
