2019: Pure Storage purchased Compuverde
At the beginning of April, 2019 Pure Storage announced Compuverde acquisition, but began to set the price of the transaction. The buyer is going to integrate technologies of the absorbed startup with two products — storage systems on a basis a flash memory of Flash//X and FlashBlade, used for storage of unstructured data, like video content.
According to SiliconANGLE, the software is valuable addition for Pure Storage specializing in deliveries of DWH equipment. Opportunities of file storage which are offered by Compuverde will help to make Pure Storage which were more finished the products which are generally intended for object information storage. Thus, Pure Storage will be able to strengthen the positions in the market of hybrid architecture.
