2018: Pure Storage purchased StorReduce

The Pure Storage company, producer of the platform of data storage all flash, announced on August 21, 2018 acquisition of StorReduce company. Financial terms of transaction, closed in August, 2018, do not reveal.

As noted in Pure Storage, purchase will allow the company to complement the portfolio of means of object storage with highly intellectual technology of deduplication of data and to expand integration with public clouds to satisfy the growing needs for management of unstructured data for multicloud environments.

The StorReduce technology optimized for a cloud reduces storage expenses and capacity of communication channels, providing sales opportunity of the solutions "cloud + flash" for a wide range of applications, including multilevel storage, migration and data protection, told in the company.
