Continuum Innovation is the American consulting company. Its headquarters is in Boston, additional offices are located in Milan, Seoul and Shanghai. To the middle of March, 2018 the number of staff of Continuum totals more than 150 employees.

Business of Continuum covers four main directions:

  • strategic consulting;
  • industrial design;
  • digital design;
  • experimental industrial laboratory for creation of prototypes of products in the field of mechanics, electro-and robotics and also experimental tools added and virtual reality.

History

2018: Epam purchased Continuum

In the middle of March, 2018 Epam Systems announced Continuum purchase. The cost of the transaction of the company did not begin to be disclosed.

At the same time in Epam expect that taking into account this absorption revenue of the company in 2018 will increase not less than by 24%, also profit will increase.

Due to Continuum acquisition the Epam company expects to expand the potential in the field of the innovation consulting and product design and also to add the operating directions digital and service design.

Besides, the transaction should help Epam to strengthen positions in the markets of North America, Europe and Asia and to introduce deeper, cheloveko-focused approach to design in the company.
