Performance indicators

2015: Network CyberPlat reached 910,000 points

The significant growth of the network was largely facilitated by the strengthening of the Bank of Russia's struggle with illegal cash cashing. Owners of terminal networks began to massively terminate relations with systems participating in "gray" schemes. At the end of the year, the company recorded a noticeable increase in points in this reception segment, despite a significant reduction in the terminal business in the country.

The duration of crediting funds directly to the card account depends on the card issuing bank and can be either instant or from two to four days.

History

2021: Shutdown

The Cyberplat payment system in September 2021 ceased to work after revoking the license from its operator, Platina Bank.

According to Vedomosti, the first reports of delays in payments through the Cyber Payment system appeared on September 17, 2021, that is, before the revocation of the bank license. After the decision of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, there were cases of failure to pay for some types of services through Cyber Payment, Mikhail Shubin, head of the press service of Rosbank, told the publication.

According to the publication, some Cyber Payment partners did not receive payments from customers after September 17, 2021. Representatives of Bilain, MGTS, Rosbank confirmed to Vedomosti that they faced problems paying for their services through Cyber Payment - payments do not pass or end in error. For example, the Planet provider warned users about the inability to replenish personal accounts through Internet banks and terminals using the Cyber Payment service.

According to Vladimir Kuznetsov, a member of the board of directors of SIAB Bank, Cyberplat connected providers with companies that provided payment services for individuals - terminals, banks and communication salons. Revocation of the license means that no payments are made, since they are all tied to the bank, and it is unlikely that the service will be restored, he said.

Platina Bank, according to the Central Bank, violated legal requirements in the field of countering money laundering, which were obtained illegally. In this regard, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation revoked the license from a credit institution. In addition, the bank conducted "opaque operations in significant volumes." They, according to reports, were aimed at providing settlements between individuals and illegal online casinos and bookmakers.[1]
