2023: Acquisition by RealWeb

Rialweb Group on February 28, 2023 announced the purchase of DataGo, a developer of analytical solutions for data-driven marketing.

Rialweb's group acquires 100% of DataGo from its founders. This includes proprietary developments, technology, team and all current customers. DataGo becomes part of the Rialweb group of companies and will develop under the leadership of Dmitry Lazarev, who also oversees the unit Rialweb Consulting. The operating part of the DataGo business will continue to be provided by Dmitry Yezhov and Mikhail Turykin. Ilya Chukhlyaev has not been involved in project management since March 2022.

Negotiations on the purchase have been going on since July 2022. The value of the transaction was not disclosed, but according to preliminary estimates, the return on investment will occur in two years.

DataGo will remain available to the market as an independent product, but at the same time, it will be integrated into the Rialweb Consulting structure, increase the team's current expertise in the field of analytics and expand its technological capabilities. DataGo services will also be available to advertisers in the Centra all-in-one marketplace and will complement the Rialweb Group's MarTech product line, part of the QIWI group, along with the Garpun automatic data collection tool and the Flocktory marketing automation platform. All this will help the group of companies to strengthen their positions in the marketing analytics market and gain a foothold in high positions.

Analytics plays a key role in performance marketing, and many customers, along with baing and creative contractors, are looking for data partners: companies need to provide themselves with data and build effective processes for working with them. DataGo is also known for its specialized digital analytics. The company brings together a large pool of large customers and a strong team that independently develops analytical tools for marketing.

Rialweb Consulting provides strategic consulting services in digital: studies the client's business and helps find growth points. Most of it is analytics of the use of advertising tools, and DataGo's expertise is harmoniously integrated into this service. Due to strong consulting experience, the company will be able to more widely and efficiently implement DataGo services in client solutions. The combination with DataGo is expected to increase the efficiency of the strategic consulting service on the 80%, and the EBITDA indicator for the Rialweb Consulting unit will grow 2 times.

First of all, DataGo tools will become available in Rialweb Consulting! Web Streaming и DataGo! Pipelines. DataGo! Web Streaming helps collect hit and session data on user behavior on mobile and desktop platforms. The tracker for data collection is independent, not subject to locks and changes of external platforms. DataGo! Pipelines imports advertising costs into GBQ or Click House and structurally provides them for easy and quick analysis. The data collected with the help of products allows you to build analytics and create the necessary dashboards. The structure of the received data is close to the structure of Google Analytics Export, this makes it easier for customers to configure the existing dashboards for a new data source.
