Library
The library of the Diplomatic Academy has its long history. It began with the creation in 1920 of courses of the People's Commissariat of Foreign Trade (NKVT) and the People's Commissariat of Foreign Affairs (NKID) on the training of Soviet representatives abroad. The library funds were replenished on the personal instructions of A.V. Lunacharsky directly from the Center for Printing, and in 1933 part of the publications of the diplomatic faculty of the Narimanov Institute of Oriental Studies were transferred to the library of courses.
