2020: Obtaining status of the resident of the SEZ "Technopolice "Moscow"

The Istkompis Rus company received the status of the resident of the special economic zone "Technopolice "Moscow" and is going to invest in development of production of sim cards in the territory of the SEZ 126.7 million rubles. On November 19, 2020 the Complex of economic policy and the property and land relations of Moscow according to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov reported about it.

Istkompis Rus annually delivers to telecom operators in Russia, the CIS countries and also in Germany and Estonia about 50 million sim cards. The company works in partnership with parent organization — global manufacturer of sim cards of Eastcompeace Technology Co Ltd.

At the beginning of 2021 the company will begin capital construction of an object of 1700 square meters in which the industrial complex, laboratory and office spaces will be placed. Resident status allows the companies to receive privileges, and the saved means to invest in the production. The resident will invest 126.7 million rubles in the project. With start of production in 2022 more than 50 hi-tech jobs will be created — the deputy mayor told.

In addition to production of traditional sim cards, the company will be engaged in creation of the platform for loading of virtual sim cards.

The company of the first in the Russian market was engaged in software development for virtual sim cards. They allow to write far off a profile of any telecom operator which provides such service and not to visit cellular shops to be connected to services of the mobile operator. At trip abroad it is also possible to configure a subscription online — the Head of Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow Alexander Prokhorov told.

Also the company is going to begin the bank card issue on technology of customization of a contact pad — the chip.

For November, 2020 in the special economic zone "Technopolice "Moscow" nine residents who are engaged in information and communication technologies work with the total number of staff more than 480 people, the CEO of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ Gennady Dyogtev added.

Instruments of support of residents of the SEZ allow to create conditions for formation of a comfortable business environment for IT of the sphere. Thanks to the status residents have an opportunity to save annually significantly on taxes and other obligatory payments: they are exempted from payment of the property tax, the earth and transport, pay income tax at the reduced rate and use the mode of the free customs zone — he told.
