The company is a participant in the experimental right-wing regime, in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 24, 2022 No. 462.

Developments

The company develops its own technologies in the field of hybrid aircraft propulsion systems, the use of composite materials, aerodynamic and strength calculations.

In particular, Ecolibri will create a vertical take-off and landing passenger aircraft, the design of which is carried out according to the requirements of certification according to Russian and international aviation rules (data for December 2022).

Performance indicators

2024: Revenue reduction by 44% to RUB 10.93 mln

In 2024, Ecolibri, a company specializing in the development and operation of unmanned aircraft systems, as well as its own hybrid electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, received revenue of 10.93 million rubles. This is 44.4% less than in the previous year, when the figure was 19.66 million rubles. Such data are reflected in the financial statements, which TAdviser got acquainted with in mid-April 2025.

The cost of sales on an annualized basis decreased by 45.5% - from 8.11 million rubles to 4.42 million rubles. Commercial expenses decreased by 73%, amounting to about 246 thousand in 2024 against 911 thousand in 2023. Management expenses more than halved - from 9.41 million rubles to 4.41 million rubles. Accounts receivable as of December 31, 2024 amounted to 34.24 million rubles, which is 136.9% more compared to the previous year (14.45 million rubles). Accounts payable increased by one and a half times - from 24.85 million rubles to 37.39 million rubles.

Russian UAV developer Ecolibri ends the year with negative revenue growth of 44%

Ecolibri's gross profit decreased by 43.6% - from 11.55 million rubles to 6.51 million rubles. At the same time, profit from sales rose by 50.5%, reaching 1.85 million rubles in 2024 against 1.23 million rubles in 2023. Profit before tax jumped about twice - from 413 thousand rubles to 866 thousand rubles. The company recorded a net profit of 660 thousand rubles, which is 101.8% more compared to 2023 (327 thousand rubles).

Revenues from sales of products, goods, works and services on an annualized basis decreased by 57.3% - from 29.89 million rubles to 12.75 million rubles. Payments to suppliers (contractors) for raw materials, materials, works and services rose by 163.5% - from 32.34 million rubles to 85.23 million rubles.[1]

History

2025: Attraction of RUR 270 mln of investments

The National Technology Initiative Foundation (NTI) is investing 270 million rubles in the developer of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) Ecolibri. The funds will be directed to the creation of serial production and certification of an unmanned aircraft of the aircraft type with vertical take-off and landing. TAdviser got acquainted with this data in December 2025.

The investment will be driven by several tranches. Ecolibri will direct the first tranche to accelerate certification of the standard design of the R-75 vertical take-off and landing unmanned aircraft.

The manufacturer of the UAV "Ecolibri" attracted 270 million rubles of investment

The head of the fund, Vladimir Kompaneishchikov, explained that certification is necessary to confirm the possibility of operating UAVs in difficult conditions and with expensive loads. Tests of the "R-75" aircraft are planned in the Moscow, Ryazan and Novgorod regions, as well as in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

The press service of Ecolibri reported that the UAV will be certified according to aviation rules for a wide range of operating conditions. This will be a competitive advantage for promotion in the domestic market and for exports. Some of the funds raised will be used to finalize Russian components that meet airworthiness standards.

As reported on December 29, 2025 in the press service, the Ecolibri Federal Air Agency transport company received a certificate from the Federal Air Transport Agency. According to the "First Technical" site, Ecolibri became the 11th company to receive this certificate.

The Federal Air Transport Agency noted that the drones manufactured by Ecolibri - aircraft drones (VTOL) and multirotor type - are capable of transporting goods weighing from 20 to 100 kg and are designed for delivery, industrial monitoring and special work.[2][3]

2022: Agreement on testing hybrid cargo, transport and unmanned aircraft in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug

Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug Yuri Vasilyevich Bezdudny, Ecolibri JSC, which develops vertical take-off and landing aircraft, and the T1 Group, one of the representatives of the Russian IT market, signed an agreement on creating conditions for testing the created types of hybrid cargo, transport and unmanned aircraft in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and for cooperation in the field of development work for unmanned aerial vehicles. This was announced on December 9, 2022 by T1.

The Ecolibri technology company is developing a line of vertical take-off and landing aircraft with a payload of 5 to several hundred kilograms, including those suitable for operation in the Arctic. The T1 Group has expertise in creating software and working with big data and high-load systems. These competencies are key to creating the software the industry needs.

Drones will be able to carry payloads both in the form of cargo and vision systems based on artificial intelligence technologies.

The partnership will result in the creation of a cargo and passenger air transportation service with a price significantly lower than aircraft and helicopters. As a result, there will be a decrease in operating costs and an increase in the average commercial speed of cargo transportation, including to difficult-to-access areas and settlements.

Within 5 years, upon completion of tests in the NAO, the assembly and maintenance of new generation aircraft can be organized.

Test flights of aircraft of this type in the district are planned at the beginning of 2023.

What is the Nenets Autonomous Okrug in terms of logistics? These are huge distances - a thousand kilometers of the Arctic coast from west to east with practically no roads. But our geographical and climatic features will help the NAO become a platform for testing drones. For December 2022, we use helicopters to deliver goods, and this is a rather expensive pleasure. Together with the companies T1 and Ecolibri, we are ready to experimentally master another direction so that unmanned aircraft will come to the district along with helicopters, "commented Yuri Bezdudny, Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Unmanned technologies are still at an early stage of their formation, but are rapidly developing. This direction combines the achievements of three industries at once: aviation, electronic engineers and. information technology Therefore, we see the most important task for ourselves to create conditions for the formation of both a technical scientific base, where we and our partners will be able to carry out developments in the field of drones and accumulate experience in their operation. One of the priority tasks is the integration of unmanned aircraft into the common airspace. Tests in the Arctic will create all the necessary conditions for such flights. As of December 2022, airworthiness standards appear in Russia, establishing requirements for the design of drones and flight rules. This allows us to hope that in the near future time drones will become an integral part of transport the system, Russia performing not only monitoring, but also logistics and other special tasks, - said the head of the Scientific and Technical Council of Ecolibri JSC. {{quote 'The future of aviation technology is changing before our eyes, and it largely depends on UAVs: the latest developments allow unmanned cargo air transportation even to the Far North. Synergy between IT and the state makes it possible to implement science-intensive initiatives in the field of unmanned technologies, which will be used to develop the potential of hard-to-reach territories, "said Igor Kalganov, General Director of the T1 Group. }}
