2023: 2.2-fold increase in production of fire protection devices

The Moscow company, which produces devices for fire protection, has increased production by 2.2 times. On February 2, 2024, the Minister of the Government of Moscow, the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Metropolitan manufacturer "Ecolyte" produces devices for protection against arc breakdown (UZDP). They reduce the risk of fire due to malfunctioning electrical wiring and equipment - the most common cause of fires.

Thanks to the support, Moscow manufacturers of electrical equipment are actively increasing production. Thus, the metropolitan enterprise "Ecolyte" in 2023 produced 35 thousand devices, increasing production volumes by 118 percent compared to 2022. In 2024, the company plans to increase production volumes to 150 thousand, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

From March 1, 2024, a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation will come into force, according to which UZDP is necessarily used in electrical installations of public buildings: schools, kindergartens, hostels and others.

As of February 2024, the use of UZDP in electrical installations of buildings was recognized by specialists as an effective measure to prevent fires. The accumulated experience of using devices in Russia served as the basis for changes in regulatory documentation. It gives us the opportunity to make plans for the development of the company for many years, - said the general director of the enterprise Fedor Nemtsov.
