The company occupies 20% of the Russian book market and has the largest author's portfolio in Russia out of 8000 names. The publishing house has a developed distribution network, which includes eight regional centers. Particular attention is paid to the efficiency of deliveries of new products to stores - two to five days after the release of the book.

History

  • One of the largest publishing houses in Europe, Eksmo was founded in 1991 as a distributor of book products. The company took up independent publishing in early 1993 and by the mid-90s became one of the leaders in the Russian book market.
  • In 2005, Eksmo was awarded the honorary title of Leader of the Russian Economy.

Eksmo acquired control in the publishing house

2021: Purchase of Eksmo Publishing and Printing Complex

In early September 2021, it became known about the sale of 100% of the Pareto-Print publishing and printing complex, which previously belonged to Alexander Mamut, to the Eksmo publishing house.
