Ellipse

Ellipse – the private developer of the medical equipment founded in 1997. The main office of the company is located in Denmark. Ellipse develops, makes and sells high-quality laser and IPL systems (on the basis of strong pulse radiation) a cosmetology and dermatological profile. The systems of the company are used for rejuvenation of skin, treatment of vascular and pigmental defeats, remodeling of skin and an epilation. Ellipse products are on sale almost in 50 countries of the world now.

History

2018: Candela purchased Ellipse

On September 5, 2018 the Candela company, the leading world corporation on production of the cosmetology equipment, announced acquisition of Ellipse, Danish company which makes and sells laser platforms for a broad spectrum of medical and cosmetology interventions. Financial terms of transaction are not disclosed.

Ellipse patented unique technology of double filtering of Waveband Ellipse light which became a serious step towards safer and effective treatment using I2PL-systems. It allows to be focused on effective lengths of waves and to selectively deliver exact energy to the target area, using submillisecond impulses.

Syneron Candela purchased the producer of the cosmetology equipment Ellipse

Nordlys, the multifunction multiprocessor platform on the basis of the strong pulse radiation, and Nd treat the key products Ellipse: YAG for cosmetology removal of vascular and pigmental defeats, an epilation and correction of an onikhomikoz. Other devices of the company include the Ellipse MultiFlex+ platform which consists of 5 nozzles of phototherapy: photoepilations, photorejuvenation of skin, photodynamic therapy and photocoagulation of vessels, - and also the Ellipse I2PL platform using advanced technology of double filtering of light.^[1]
