FABRIKA IT Park (Astrakhan Technopark SK LLC) is the first private technopark in Russia. It hosts leading IT companies in the region, provides service and consulting services, and conducts joint projects.

History

2022: Appointment as Skolkovo Regional Representative

The Aquarium Innovation Center in Krasnodar and the Astrakhan Technopark FABRIKA became regional operators of the Skolkovo Foundation, which announced this on October 27, 2022. Thus, the Foundation's partner network covered 23 subjects of Russia. Local companies will be able to apply for the status of a Skolkovo resident and gain access to all mechanisms to support the development institute.

The Aquarium Innovation Center forms business communities in the Krasnodar Territory, contributes to the creation and acceleration of projects. On an area of ​ ​ 3.6 thousand square meters. m there are smart offices, lecture halls, meeting rooms, co-working space and venues for events. Since 2019, more than 300 representatives of SMEs have become residents of Aquarium and over 2 thousand people have received support in the development of projects. In 2022, the center, together with the Innovation Development Fund of the Krasnodar Territory, united more than 2.4 thousand participants and 135 startups as part of the Funnel of Innovative Startups project.

We are confident that the expertise and support measures of the Skolkovo Foundation, whose conductors in the region are now the center, will allow us to further develop the innovative potential of entrepreneurs in our region, and will also contribute to the creation of high-tech industries, the development of the scientific sphere and the development of innovations. As of October 2022, 36 high-tech startups from Astrakhan and neighboring regions are residents of T. Parka FABRIKA.

The status of a regional operator will allow attracting investments in projects, gaining access to the Fund's services, and will contribute to business development and, as a result, active economic growth in the Astrakhan region, noted Evgeny Sutkovoy, General Director of the FABRIKA Technopark.

The opening of a regional operator will make it easier for companies to obtain the status of a participant in the Skolkovo project. For them, tax and customs benefits are provided, including VAT, income tax and property tax in the amount of 0%. In addition, residents will have access to Skolkovo methodology, practices and mentoring assistance, including for entering international markets and receiving grants.

We have long been working to involve the Krasnodar Territory and the Astrakhan Region in the Skolkovo ecosystem. The south of Russia is an important direction for the whole country, the region is a leader in the production of agricultural goods, the infrastructure of the processing industry is developed. Location and climate contributed to the development of the tourism industry, as well as the concentration of high-tech IT specialists participating remotely in projects around the world. Earlier, the regional representative of Skolkovo worked to attract new projects to our circuit. We are strengthening this process by giving the status of regional operators of the Fund in the Krasnodar Territory to the Innokub ANO (Aquarium IC) and FABRIKA Technopark. We believe that this will qualitatively affect the development of the region as a whole, added Yuri Saprykin, Vice President for Regional and International Development of the Skolkovo Foundation.

In total, out of more than 3,300 Skolkovo residents, more than 1,500 companies have regional registration. In 2021, their revenue showed an increase of more than twice compared to the previous year - 38.4 billion rubles against 18.4 billion rubles in 2020.

2013

Investments from Infrafond RVC and Pilot Group of Companies

The investments will be aimed at developing consulting services of the Astrakhan IT Park for residents, including the launch of a catalization program for innovative projects. The project became possible thanks to the expansion of cooperation RVC with the administration of the Astrakhan region, as well as with regional participants in the ecosystem.

"Infrafond is part of an already working project precisely in order to subsequently actively use the experience of the Astrakhan IT Park in organizing such Technoparks in other regions. As part of the project, it is planned to launch catalization programs, the selection of which will be carried out on a competitive basis by the IT Park Supervisory Council. It is estimated that 5 venture capital funds and about 50 business angels will become FABRIKA partners during this year. In addition, the IT park intends to build a model of interaction with technological universities and universities in neighboring regions in order to attract the most promising teams working in the information technology market.

Purpose of the technopark

According to June 2013, FABRIKA serves as the basis for many significant events in the innovation field. In particular, the regional finals of the Microsoft Imagine Cup competition, the IT Start school of young programmers, etc. In April 2013, the local stage of the Russian StartUp Tour was successfully held in Astrakhan IT Park, in which 176 technological entrepreneurs of Astrakhan and nearby regions took part.

Over the two years of its operation, the IT park has brought together participants in the venture capital investment market and novice technology companies in the region. Today, such well-known startups in Russia as BRAVO MOTORS (a project to create an ultra-compact transformer electric car), Agent Plus (a developer of business applications for automating and controlling employees), Sleepdy project (diagnostics of sleepy apnea), Adwify point territorial Internet advertising service and others are working on its basis.

As of June 2013, the LIFT business incubator is located on the territory of the Astrakhan IT Park, which provides services for the selection, examination, selection, packaging, acceleration of startups in the field of information technology.
