Fiix – SaaS developer (software as service) - the platform for management of maintenance which combines management of mobile assets of working procedures and spare parts and differs in open network and providing the valuable information based on AI. Using Fiix it is possible to connect quickly IoT-solutions, suppliers of spare parts, contractors and corporate IT systems for improvement of interaction of physical assets and people.

The headquarters of Fiix founded in 2008 is in Toronto, Canada.

History

2020: Acquisition by Rockwell Automation company

On November 25, 2020 Rockwell Automation, the company in the field of industrial automation and digital transformation, announced TAdviser acquisition of Fiix, producer of the computerized management systems for maintenance (CMMS) with support of AI. The cost of the transaction does not reveal.

The quantity of the connected industrial facilities increases, and capability becomes more important to obtain information on operations on maintenance for ensuring competitive advantage. Ownership of these data allows to reach other performance level, maximizing pluses from industrial automation.

Cloud CMMS Fiix creates workflows for planning, the organization and control of maintenance of the equipment. It is connected to business systems and allows to make the decisions based on data. Revenue of the company in 2019 grew by 70% with revenue growth for 85%. Fiix manages more than 2 million assets and has more than 6 million orders a year.

We consider that the future of management of industrial assets is based on performance. With acquisition of Fiix company and its experience, our customers will get unconditional advantages of 360-degree submission of the integrated data on automation, production and maintenance. Acquisition of Fiix answers the strategy of Rockwell Automation in the field of the software. It also expands possibilities of Rockwell Automation in business of management of enterprise lifecycle (Lifecycle Services) which provides a full range of services in industrial automation, helping customers to receive the maximum capacity of assets, systems and processes. Besides, Rockwell Automation will have opportunities for stabilization of customers. Using the CMMS enterprise can work more effectively, reducing waste and energy consumption at simultaneous economy of means.

The Fiix company will be provided as a part of the "Software and Management Tools" direction of Rockwell Automation. It is expected that the deal will be closed by the end of 2020 calendar year.
