2021: Rockwell Automation bought Plex for $2.22 billion
At the end of June 2021, Rockwell Automation announced the purchase of ERP manufacturer for Plex production facilities. The deal is estimated at $2.22 billion.

Plex will join Rockwell to develop hardware and software for the design, operation and maintenance of automation and manufacturing management systems. As part of this acquisition, Rockwell will open new vacancies and expand its staff by more than 500 employees.
