2021

Orange and Vodafone discussed merger for half a year

Orange Business Services and China Telecom will provide continuous access to IoT services

International service provider Orange Business Services and telecommunications operator ChinaChina Telecom announced in early July 2017 the expansion of a strategic partnership in the Internet of Things (IoT). The new stage of cooperation will allow companies to jointly provide services to their corporate customers immediately in Asia, Europe and Africa.

Corporate clients of both China Telecom and Orange those operating on different continents will be able to deploy their Internet of Things and M2M (Machine-to-Machine) networks to other operator's networks. Thus, China Telecom customers providing services in the field of the Internet of Things will be able to deploy their assets and offers in Orange networks located in countries Europe and Africa. Accordingly, Orange's global corporate customers get the opportunity to enter the fast-growing Chinese market using the network IoT resources and business capabilities of the China Telecom operator.
