MIP "Geomera" (the resident Skolkovo) is engaged in algorithm elaboration of contactless high-performance measurement of parameters of difficult geometrical figures using the laser and the coordinate measurement machine (January, 2015).
History
2010
In 2010 the project received a grant from Fund of assistance to development of small forms of the enterprises in the scientific and technical sphere of "U.M.N.I.K".
2011: Registration of Geomera LLC
In 2011 the project won on the third youth innovation convention of Sverdlovsk region "The special nomination". On the received means the experimental stand is assembled, an initial set of algorithms of signal processing of laser triangulable sensors is developed, primary experiments and the analysis of data retrieveds are made. The project actively participates in tenders and exhibitions (the Zvorykinsky project, BIT, Seliger of 2011, etc.). The project team promptly accumulates experience, the new ideas, contacts, offers.
Geomera LLC is open.
2012
In 2012 the development team received a grant from the MSP Innovation center of Sverdlovsk region as the beginning small innovative company in the amount of 500 thousand rubles, and also S.T.A.R.T. became the winner of tender ".", having received annual financing in the amount of 1 million rubles.
At the end of 2012 the project won the All-Russian tender of scientific and innovation projects.
2013
In 2013 the project became the winner of competition Tekhnostart Ural, and received the order from JSC OMZ for development and delivery of a system of scanning and a marking of large-size parts. The project team received a grant from RVC on a trip and representation of the development to Russian Innovation Week 2013. The project became the resident Skolkovo.
2015: Naumen receives a share in the company
In January, 2015 it became known that the Russian Naumen invested in the Geomera small innovation enterprise (SIE) and entered authorized capital of the company. Means are provided to a startup on development with participation of Ural Federal University (URFA) of a laser measuring complex for metallurgical and oil industry.
"Investing in the innovative development of Geomera, we are aimed to enter the market of hi-tech industrial enterprises of Russia, and, in the subsequent, the world, – Alexander Davydov, the chairman of the board of directors of Naumen company says. – The measuring complex created by the Ekaterinburg startup with participation URFA is intended for quality control of production of a difficult thread of a bonus class on the connection sleeves used in products of industrial function. First of all, the release of the solution for needs of oil production for the purpose of import substitution and decrease in sanctions risks as now in oil industry the share of couplings of the western production is high is planned".
According to Alexander Davydov, Naumen sees partnership of private companies, universities and the state as the perspective, increasing efficiency of each of participants partnership. Together with URFA and the venture fund of development of innovations created by the university and an accelerator the company intends to promote development of the projects connected with the domestic industry and high technologies.
"The strategic investor shares with us not only money, but also own experience of development of the software product and management of it", – the director of Geomera Dmitry Lavrinov notes.
In the near future the startup is going to equip with the solution production of boring pipes and connection sleeves for them at several plants of the Ural region.
The supplier of the control and measuring machine based on whom the new complex is developed shows to it keen interest as the created solution has no analogs on high-speed performance and accuracy. The solution will allow to increase tightness of the threaded connection having irregular structure. The mathematical algorithm created to URFA a few years ago is the cornerstone of development. Connection sleeves are "the account component part" at oil production, and, according to the Russian mining companies, the general losses of the domestic oil and gas industry because of defects of a thread of couplings and pipes reach 30 billion rubles. Now the ready-made solution providing profitable streaming mode of quality control of threaded connections so far in the world is not announced.
It is in the long term supposed to use a measuring complex for quality control of production of difficult forgings and stamps and also for quality control of turbine blades.
