Biography

Was born on November 26, 1958 in the city of Asbest of Sverdlovsk region.
In 1982 graduated from physics and technology faculty of the Ural polytechnical institute (nowadays URFA) where studied at department of theoretical physics. In student's years Alexander Davydov in group of scientists participated in implementation of highly risk knowledge-intensive innovation projects. After completion of study remained to work in UPI at department of computing methods and equations of mathematical physics (VMIUMF) of radio engineering faculty (RTF), was engaged in scientific activity, programming.
In 1985 by request of the Uralenergochermet enterprise developed the accounting program "Accounting of Work and the Salary — AMBA" which began to be in demand and was implemented at many Ural enterprises. During this period it worked in the Major Computer Center (MCC) of the Sverdlovsk regional executive committee, in department of a micro computer.
Later, at Institute of engineering science where was as the junior researcher, created and implemented the automation system of project works (ASPW).
In 1988 became the cofounder and the technical director of special design bureau Circuit. As a part of the company directed development of the second version of the "Accounting of Work and the Salary — AMBA" system which was recognized the best in Russia at the tender "Business Software of 2001". From 1991 to 2001 Microtest was the co-owner and the technical director of the company. Both of these enterprises created in Yekaterinburg with Alexander Davydov's participation became afterwards the leading federal IT companies.
In November, 2001, having left Microtest, created and headed NAUMEN company. Till 2010 – the CEO, now – the chairman of the board of directors of NAUMEN company. In 2012 subsidiary companies in the countries of the FSU and beyond – Naumen Kazakhstan LLP (Republic of Kazakhstan) and Noda (Philippines) which successfully work today at the markets of these regions were created.
Alexander Davydov is also the president of NP Uralsky IT-klaster founded in 2011 which activity is concentrated in the field of development of the industry of software development on Central Ural Mountains, including, establishing cooperation of universities and business companies in the field of training, increases in attractiveness of the region for investors, assistance to the young technology companies, increase in the professional grade of the Ekaterinburg specialists.
