Ministry of Education and Science of the Altai Territory

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Altai Territory (Ministry of Education and Science of the Altai Territory) is an executive body of the Altai Territory, which performs functions for the implementation of state policy in the field of education, scientific, scientific and technical activities, guardianship and guardianship, as well as the organization of recreation and rehabilitation of children in the Altai Territory, including ensuring the safety of their life and health (Regulation on the Ministry of Education and Science of the Altai Territory, approved by decree of the Governor of the Altai Territory dated November 23, 2016^[1]).

Transformation into the Ministry of Education and Science

On August 26, 2016, the Governor of the Altai Territory Alexander Karlin signed Decree No. 297 "On the Executive Authorities of the Altai Territory," in which he gave instructions on which departments of the regional administration consider the ministries of the region. The Main Directorate of Education and Science of the Altai Territory is established to be considered the Ministry of Education and Science^[2].

Renaming to the Main Directorate of Education and Science of the Altai Territory

By the Decree of the Governor of the Altai Territory dated April 26, 2016 No. 41, the Main Directorate of Education and Youth Policy of the Altai Territory from July 1, 2016 was renamed the Main Directorate of Education and Science of the Altai^[3]."

2012: Activities of the Main Department of Education and Youth Policy of the Altai Territory

The Main Department of Education and Youth Policy of the Altai Territory (until May 29, 2012 - the Altai Territory Department for Education and Youth Affairs) acted on the basis of the "Regulation on the Main Department of Education and Youth Policy of the Altai Territory," approved by the Decree of the Altai Territory of May 29, 2012 No. 283. The main department was the executive body of the Altai Territory, which manages in the field of education and youth policy.
