2012

The government of the Murmansk region sends more than 200 million rubles. for the introduction of modern information systems in the healthcare sector, said the chairman of the regional committee for the development of information technologies Alexei Palamarchuk. "The allocated funds will be spent on the development of communications, the connection of medical institutions to a single network, the supply of equipment and the introduction of information products," Palamarchuk said.

He also added that the project "Electronic Registration" will be implemented in the Arctic, which involves maintaining maps of all patients and recording visits in electronic form. Currently, only 32% of medical institutions in the region use such systems.

In addition, as reported on the official portal of the Murmansk region, an automated ambulance management system has already been introduced in six medical institutions in the region.
