2016: Investments in Lipetsk Oblast
The contribution of investment activities to the gross regional product amounted to 25%, which exceeds the average Russian indicator by 5%. The total volume of investments at the end of the year amounted to 130 billion rubles.
According to the press service of the administration of the Lipetsk region, investment activities bring twice as much revenue to the budget as other income measures. Moreover, such a pace in the region has been able to withstand for eight years. In 2016, the physical volume of foreign trade turnover increased. Now the ratio of export and import products in the region with a significant advantage is inclined in favor of exports. At the end of last year, 91% of goods produced in the region were sold abroad.
Local authorities see another promising direction for the region in the development of public-private partnership. Today, 12 projects within the PPP are being implemented in the region, under which the necessary regulatory framework has been created. The volume of investments is about 1 billion rubles.
