2022: Construction of a conveyor plant for the production of telecommunications equipment

The resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Technopolice Moscow" - NPO "Granite" - is building a conveyor production for the production of telecommunications equipment at the Alabushevo site. This was announced on October 26, 2022 by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.

The company plans to invest more than 800 million rubles in the construction and launch of a high-tech conveyor production of telecommunications equipment. The commissioning of the facility is scheduled for the end of 2024. About 60 people will be able to find a job in production, - said Vladimir Efimov.

NPO Granit has been a resident of the SEZ Technopolice Moscow since 2017. The company is one of the developers and manufacturers of telecommunications equipment and information and management systems for federal executive bodies and commercial structures.

The company will be located on a plot of 1.6 hectares in Alabushevo. Almost eight thousand square meters of production space will be erected there, "said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

As Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ, clarified, as of October 2022, the zero cycle of construction work was completed at production: the foundation was laid and underground engineering communications were carried out.

Products of NPO Granit are in high demand both on the domestic and world market. For all the time of its work, the company has produced over 150 thousand units of equipment for Russian customers. Among the demanded developments of "Granite" are technical means of communication, means of cryptographic protection of information with high speed, elements of artificial intelligence, database management systems.

The status of a resident of the SEZ "Technopolice Moscow" allows Granit to receive additional support. The company is exempted from paying land, property and, transport taxes the income tax rate for it is reduced to two percent. In addition, customs fees are not levied on the goods it imports.
